In summary

Cassville Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers of all skill levels. Many visitors appreciate the excellent condition of the greens and the overall beauty of the course, despite its somewhat remote location. However, some criticisms include inconsistencies in course maintenance, such as unkempt sand traps and rough cart paths, as well as occasional issues with management and communication regarding amenities.

This course is a good one. You have to play here a few times to get a good feel on shot placement due to the abundance of blind shots. The greens roll perfectly, although with the many levels and undulations on them, they also have to be played a few times to get a good feel to. Very recommendable course!

Great course! Played 6 days after New Year and the course was in awesome shape, with green fairways and smooth greens! Will come back!

The golf course was way nicer than I had expected being where it is off the beaten path kind of. The staff was very polite. I will be going back to play again sooner rather than later

Interesting layout. Tiny greens, Sand traps should be removed if not maintained, trees have narrowed the course in a big way. For the price it is okay.

As a women golfer, I felt extremely targeted by the pro shop gentleman Greg or Gary. I’m not sure of the name, he was the overweight fella wearing sweatpants. As soon as me and my partners finished hole 9 he was outside telling us to pick up the pace and move faster. Mind you, there was no one behind us and no one waiting. There were plenty of carts as well. I couldn’t tell you why this “pro shop employee” was rushing me and my partners. I’m not quite sure how anyone who would like to start golfing or is learning to golf would appreciate being rushed through the course when you pay full price…

Been by here many many times finally stopped in. Really nice course. Greens are well kept ran a little slow on some dye to rain so have to play it by ear. Over all really nice course and we will definitely be stopping back in.

Very nice golf course, Staff is friendly, and courteous. Lots of unnecessary patches of grass left tall as an unmarked hazard, I guess this is OK , but not to my liking. Greens are well kept and T boxes were dry and hard when I was there in late August. All in all I recommend this course. You will enjoy the time there.

Their website says the driving range is closed on Wednesday till 3:00 for mowing and ball retrieval. I go at 9:45 am on Thursday, the man at the desk in the pro shop says the driving range is closed for mowing. I said but your website says Wednesday mowing. Manager sitting at a computer looking very busy says the weather is to blame, but doesn’t bother to update the website. Wasted and hour and 30 miles. My first impression of this club is poor management. PS looking at driving range while leaving, no one mowing on the driving range. Don’t trust the info on their website…

Course is well maintained. The 1492 Columbus Classic was a success just like the voyage to the New World was a great success for mankind.
