The course is generally well-maintained, with recent improvements noted, and the staff is frequently described as friendly and professional. However, some visitors have pointed out issues such as inconsistent greens, slow carts, and occasional lapses in customer service, which can detract from the overall experience.

Very nice course in rural, Missouri. Staff was very friendly clubhouse was very inviting decent selection and the pro shop. Cold November day that was cartpath only. Course was out trying to do maintenance, which I appreciate. Middle of round, they changed to off the path and even came over and let us know of the new change in policy, which is very professional of them. The fairways were a little beat up. I’m not sure if they had some water issues over the last couple months. I cannot see that it’s a lack of effort from the staff because they were all out working hard that day that we played.…

Another hidden gem around the Ozarks. Nice course. Staff was very friendly, and honestly for Dec it was in good shape. The greens were good, a few spots under repair but thats expected. Has some challenging holes, and rolling hills. I will definitely be going back when the weather is nicer.

First time on the course. Drove over an hour to play. It did not disappoint. Great mix of holes combining classic design, blind shots and rolling terrain. Hats off to the grounds crew for an outstanding job. Course was in great shape. If the locals would fix their ball marks on the greens, they could really help make these greens even better. Worth the drive!

The place looks great and the greens and fringe are super pretty. The only real complaint is that the carts are insanely slow. It would barely take less time to walk. They have some issues there. But the course is nice.

At a yardage of roughly 6,500 yards, a slope of 116 and a course rating of 69 from the blue tees, Windmill Ridge is an enjoyable round of golf for the average recreational golfer. Although the course originally started out with a 9 hole layout, the course has expanded to be 18 holes. As such, the course has a different feel between both 9 hole layouts. All things taken into consideration, Windmill Ridge offers a pleasant playing experience. "Positives" *Fun and challenging layout *The clubhouse is very well maintained and proficiently stocked *Personnel at the course have always been courteo…

I love courses that have some history. This course does not disappoint. In the description of the course it was built in 1940. Then the back half was done in 2011 I believe. All I can say is I cannot wait to play this course the next time we come to visit Monett.

Pretty nice muni but fairways can be spotty. Not an easy walk but doable.

Course was in solid condition all around. Smooth greens, green side bunkers had good sand, good grass coverage in fairways and rough. Nothing to complain about. Nice piece of property for golf with elevation changes on the majority of the holes. Guy in the shop was friendly and helped me get oriented with the property as a first time visitor. Excellent value for the money.

I love love love the changes they have made to the course in the last couple of years. The new clubhouse is very nice as well. My favorite is the addition of the new 9 holes. The layout is classically designed, with rolling hills & valleys, that seem to melt into the natural landscape. As with any new course, it takes a while to mature, and this golf course is doing it nicely. I would highly recommend to quit what you are doing some afternoon, and give it a try.
