In summary

Holly Hill Golf Club is frequently praised for its friendly and accommodating staff, well-maintained fairways, and enjoyable layout that caters to golfers of all skill levels. The course's affordability and peaceful setting make it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. However, some reviewers note that the sand traps require attention and the greens, while improving, can be inconsistent. Overall, the club is appreciated for its ongoing improvements and welcoming atmosphere.

Surprisingly good track. Sand traps need work but tees, fairways and greens are good. It's a 9 hole course but it's definitely not easy. Cost $24 to play 9 twice. I'll be back.

Great friendly staff that tries hard to make the Club wonderful. They need more help and supplies to serve food as they want. The course is great just need more help too. Greens are not great yet. The one greens keeper they have is good but can’t make it great by himself. I encourage everyone to play this course because it’s a diamond in the ruff. I love being a member here and playing here.

Classic 9 hole course. The staff is courteous. Masks are mandates inside AND was enforced which was awesome. It is not expensive. I have played here multiple times. Walking 18 is easy. Driving is also easy and just a tad more expensive. The walking carts are a little fun down, but with some straps and rigging they worked great. The course is wide and open. It was very playable for all skill levels. Even golfers with low handicaps could enjoy this course. We played the weekend of the 2 weekends. Never had a busy course and never felt rushed. Pace of play was good and the course was beautiful a…

I will definitely be coming back to this golf course. The young lady at the pro shop was very pleasant. The course was laid out nicely with some challenges. The greens were in really good shape. The course is wide open, so as long as you see the direction of the ball, you will find it. Overall, I enjoyed myself there.

A very nice little course. Friendly staff. Fairways in good shape, but greens were a bit slow. On the other hand, they were in good shape. My biggest complaint would be the traps which need serious attention. Signage could be improved, as well. Overall, a fun course to play.

This is my favorite course. It’s quiet and no one is rushing me. Other players are usually courteous and let you go around. They have new carts and have done a lot of work on the greens and the clubhouse is nice as well.

If you are learning to play, or you just hate losing balls in the water this course could be a great place to start. Wide fairways and average size greens. It’s not super easy. But not hard either. Staff is accommodating and friendly.

Never really crowed, quiet place to play golf, not too far out the way. Decent prices on 18. Had cold beer and snacks. One of my top picks to just get out and play on a good course

This golf course is a little gem. Straight fairways, and easy holes. Only 9 holes, but I had a blast. And when I went here was the deal i got: 27 holes, 2 carts, foursome for 9 dollars. Yes, you read that right. I got a drink and a snack, my total was only $12! You can't beat it. I'm firmly convinced there won't be another as cheap, fun, straight forward for practice as this one. Holly Hill is perfect. If you're coming to South Carolina for golf, stop by here. If you just like wasting money unnecessarily then continue to Hilton Head or Myrtle Beach.
