Santee Cooper Country Club

I came for a "guys' weekend" with my 2 adult sons, and everything was perfect! The staff in the clubhouse were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The starter was easy-going, knowledgeable, and kept the pace moving. There was food already prepared so we could "grab and go" at the turn. The "Traverse" putting green was a great way to brush up on my putting as well. We stayed 3 days and 2 nights and really had a great experience. I have already recommended this course to friends, and I will definitely be back... in fact, we are already making plans for next year!

Beautiful breezy day on the Summerton side of Lake Marion. We packed our trikes and rode the old 301 bridge across the lake and back, then sat down on a couple of newly installed Adirondack chairs lakeside and enjoyed a picnic lunch. There's a little beach at the far end of the parking lot, so did a little exploring too. Wonderful spring-tease of an afternoon!

Great course with a great layout. A solid test for your skill. Not the easiest track, but not impossible either. Water on some holes, some tight fairways and some generous ones.

My home course!! Love it here! 2 excellent courses and 5 star staff! Gated golf community. 2 lots for sale if you want to build!!!

Just played this course today and absolutely loved it. Please add some markers and GPS on carts.

Santee Cooper Country Club, located in Santee, South Carolina, was a decent course, but nothing fancy. The greens were in good shape and the fairways were kind. There was almost no water on the course, which was surprising since it bordered Lake Marion. The fox squirrels and geese were abundant. A good round, bit was kind of expecting more.

Very nice facility and the course is in really good shape.

Great course. The greens were a little fast but in superb condition! To play the course good take an extra club on your approach shot. The greens are about a half of a club more than the yardage

Enjoyed friendly service, and a beautiful golf course! Golf marshall saw we were stuck behind some slow foursomes and took us ahead to back nine then let us replay front 9! Awesome service!

Played here in May of last year and course was in great shape, played here June 19, greens were plugged and sanded very difficult to putt and chip, still a good course except for greens

Great staff, awesome clubhouse, smooth buttery greens, awesome membership package!!! Highly Recommend!!!
