It takes alot to get 5 stars at any place these days. But this place deserves it. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. My son is just learning the sport and was having some issues at the range. I walked away from my son and went into the pro shop where I was greeted by the mgr. I asked about private lessons for my son. He gave me his rate along with his young colleague Ian's rate, who I had met a few times prior and was always very friendly. The mgr. Said that Ian was outside at the Pavillion and to talk to him about scheduling. I found Ian, and as always, he was smiling. I told him the sit…

Played on Friday, and while the course was in good shape, play was extremely slow due to the fact that many twosomes and even a single were permitted to play without pairing up. My group waited approximately 10 minutes or more on just about every hole. We skipped the last two holes, and the round still took almost 5 hours. Honey Run needs to do a better job managing this.

Stefani was awesome. She took care of our group. Kept us laughing. Make sure to ask her about her mouse tattoo.

Steph at the Bar was rude. We asked for ice on an extremely hot day and she said no and then ignored us. The workers on course were always in the way mowing and driving loud tractors in the puddle of our shots during the middle of the day. They went out of the way to be in the way. Fairways in terrible shape. I liked the layout of the course though and the tee choices. With better customer service I would come back.

Speaking more on the lessons here. Before doing lessons I was shooting 100-115 consistently. After a few lessons with Mark I’m now shooting in the 80s. Everyone learns different but I tried a few coaches before hearing about Mark and his teaching style just clicks. Got my slice under control. Has me hitting more consistent and straight with every club. Range and short game area are always in amazing condition. Can’t wait to get out and see the course. IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A GOOD COACH THIS IS YOUR PLACE!! The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere going in to the clubhouse/ pro shop is…

I'm the TEETIMETRUCKER and I play across the Country and I must say that this Course is in GREAT condition. Greens nice, but not too fast.........but the only negative thing is that there wasn't a Snack Cart Rolling around the Course. But I would most definitely play this Course again. There are some very challenging holes, and a tough par 3 to finish your round (#18)

Have golfed at Honey Run several times over the past few years. Never had a bad experience. Well maintained, challenging/fun layout, affordable, grass range, friendly staff, good food and drinks. Will gladly continue to drive over an hour to play here!

Chuck was a great man. Took care of the boys from Downingtown CC. Stephanie was a saint. Putting up with all our nonsense. Thank you both. Had a great time !!!

The course itself is great! I golfed here yesterday and the temperature was about 100 degrees… I asked for a bag of ice to keep my water cold and I was told a bag of ice cost $5. Never in my life have I heard something so crazy! The only course in York that charges for ICE! smh

The course is really nice and smooth, one of the best courses I’ve been too! Played the front nine and stopped at the clubhouse for a bite to eat before the back nine. Everyone was super nice until we started getting service for food. Stephanie was not a pleasant person to be served by. She has an attitude and I didn’t feel welcomed especially seeing her being pleasant with everyone else who walked through the door. Do better Stephanie because I think my experience at the clubhouse was just ruined and I’ll never return to the clubhouse. Honey run, great course!

Course is in great condition for the time of year! Overall the course is very playable and you will use every club in the bag. From the well manicured tee boxes and great putting greens it's a must stop for the golfer in northern MD or around the York/Lancaster area. We will be back to play this track very soon.

Course was in decent shape. However I expected better especially during prime time Saturday. Unfortunately, management here is sub par and not worth your business. There was no respect to us as paying customers and followed us around 15 minutes prior to the course closing as we were finishing hole 17 and forced us to leave without being able to finish. I recommend Briarwood Golf Course a few miles down the road.
