In summary

Humber Valley Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its scenic location, friendly staff, and affordability, making it a popular choice for local golfers. The course layout offers a mix of challenges suitable for various skill levels, and the facilities, including the clubhouse, are well-regarded. However, some visitors express concerns about the condition of the greens and bunkers, and the pace of play can be slow due to a lack of marshals on the course.

Love playing this track. Some good challenges, but nothing too over-the-top for a city course. Really loses points with me for not having marshals on the course. Loads of people with no concept of pace or etiquette can be a real deal-breaker. Unfortunate because it’s close to home and is generally kept in great shape (aside from the bunkers which are basically unplayable).

Had an amazing time at Humber Valley Golf Course! Went with two friends, rented carts, and enjoyed a smooth round on a beautifully maintained course—especially impressive this early in the season. The layout is peaceful with that signature Toronto charm; we even spotted geese and a couple of coyotes along the way. Great vibes, friendly staff, and a solid course for golfers of all levels. Can’t wait to come back!

Humber Valley GC is a beautiful, well maintained public course tucked off Weston road alongside the scenic Humber River Valley. Established in 1958, the front 9 features some short par 4s just over 300yards but tight fairways with lots of trees on both sides. I had to use my hybrid and 3W on most. I could see some more work being done replanting trees to even make it much narrower. The greens were in great shape but some were also being repaired. The surroundings were peacefully and quiet. The back 9 opens up a little with wider fairways and 2 par 5s ...these I pulled my driver ! I liked the 1…

One of Toronto's better public courses, good variety of holes. Some real easy, others challenging like back to back par 5s on the back nine. But can be very slow, 5+ hour rounds

Not a bad course. Good challenges. But the quality of the greens and bunkers are horrible. I would suggest that the horse put more attention into having quality greens, And replaced the sand in the bunker , they are hard as rock. Also to have a Marshall on the course would be very beneficial. A lot of the players don’t have golf etiquette, like fixing their divots, repairing their ball marks on greens , or keeping pace. It’s a bit expensive for the quality of the course.

I had a great experience at Humber Valley Golf Course. The staff were outstanding — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which really made the day enjoyable. Their exceptional service stood out and made me feel valued as a guest. That said, the course itself could use a little more attention, especially the greens and tee box areas, which weren’t in the best condition. With a bit more care there, this place could easily be a five-star experience. Overall, I’d definitely come back — the service alone makes it worthwhile, and I’m hopeful the course conditions will improve

Great course. Feels like I'm golfing up north. Prices are affordable as I play often, so that's important. Friendly staff, clean facilities. Aces all the way. T's up 🏌‍♂️

Heard such good things about this place but it didn’t even come close to living up to any expectations that you would have for a city course. Lets start with the course conditions which in general were pretty poor, literally the worst place I golfed this year out of about 20 courses. There is more yellow grass than anything, especially around all the fairways. Every single tee box was bad, some so bad it was all dirt no grass. Now some of the greens were ok but this might have to do with them turning sprinklers on the green while you are playing the hole! Yes you read that right, literally w…

Nice city course. It’s in great shape. There’s a chip and putting green as well as nets to drive into to. The clubhouse is pretty impressive too with a spacious dining area that has a large screen tv and a pool table. I will definitely be back.

Drove 3 hours to golf this track with a buddy who is local. It was a lot of fun and and a fairly easy walk if you like walking, just a couple hills to contend with if you walk. Most fairways are wide, and they have some character with a small hills, tree lined and some bunkers. There's a couple holes with a sewage smell but that's not the fault of the course. The fairways were well kept, a little dry but given our recent weather that's to be expected. Bunkers were playable which was a nice change from some courses closer to where I normally play. I thought it was very cool to see all the plane…

Really nice little course within the city. Greens, fairways and tee decks are all in pretty good shape and the price is right. Only downside is it is a shorter course so the long hitters and better golfers may want to look elsewhere but really good for everyone else

Decent city owned course. A few good par 4's, many good par 3's! Good value for $. Close to Hwy 401 + Hwy 400 and not too much farther from Hwy 427. It's GREAT that this city owned course makes golf accessible to the masses at a reasonable price!
