In summary

Royal Woodbine Golf Club is appreciated for its convenient location near downtown Toronto and the airport, offering a challenging course layout with numerous doglegs and water hazards. Many visitors commend the well-maintained greens and the friendly, professional staff, making it a popular choice for events and tournaments. However, some players express dissatisfaction with the high green fees, inconsistent maintenance of tee boxes, and occasional slow pace of play, which detracts from the overall experience.

Played in a tournament recently. Pace was very slow because it was cart path only. Several tee boxes MUST be fixed, they are bad shape(mounded or very little grass) tough to get a tee shot off without a lot of efforts. The Ontario Longest Drive champion stuggled to get a drive off of the 2nd tee box. The course follows a river valley close to the airport. Most holes are dog legs and there is water on every hole, with hidden hazards around every curve. For the price they charge $120.00 for a round, I'm sorry I just wouldn't rush back.

Thank you to Royal Woodbine for all that you did to make our 21st Annual St. Padre Pio Golf Tournament a huge success. From the initial phone call with Roy Chan, it was clear that we were in great hands. Roy's meticulous attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our event was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. The Royal Woodbine team went above and beyond throughout the day to provide an impeccable experience, from the condition of the course to the smooth organization of all tournament logistics. The feedback from our participants was overwhelmingly positive, praising bo…

Sad to say absolutely not worth the money - I guess I should have read the reviews before booking. Decided to treat myself as a celebration of a big life event, so I splurged on a high green fee cost. PLEASE TRUST ME WHEN I SAY (BEING GENEROUS) THIS COURSE SHOULD COST HALF OF WHAT IT DOES. The quality of this course is absolutely nowhere close to worth $140. Some notable things: 1) Perfectly sunny day, 25 degrees, hasn’t rained in days. Inexplicably cart path only and the cart paths are horribly positioned for each hole. 2) Greens are as good as your local muni’s. 3) Every tee box is hacked…

I've played a few rounds here due to location and desperation, but never really a place I'd suggest. High green fees are already a well discussed point about this course, but the forced cart fee even if I'm walking sucks. Went out for a Sunday round and I always expect those rounds to be a bit slower than normal and generally I'm fine to wait a bit here and there, but a marshal told us the course apparently let out a foursome that paid for two tee times so they can play slower. Clearly this group didn't understand how it works and thought they had 9 hours to play the round. The course should…

Great 18 hole course located minutes away from Downtown Toronto. Easily accessible by major highways. The course offers holes with varying degrees of difficulty which add to the overall great experience. A true hidden gem in Toronto.

One of the best venues for weddings! We had a great opportunity to capture some stunning shots from the outdoor ceremony as well as a romantic photo shoot of the couple around the golf course.

The course is very playable, but you need to be accurate off the tee as it’s quite tight in spots. It’s in great condition, located in a great area, and overall a solid experience. I definitely recommend giving it a try

The location close to downtown Toronto is why we decided to try this course today as well got a deal for under $100 riding. The course itself is in good shape, well maintained and golf-cart food/beverage service is frequent. There is a washroom on the course as well. Greens are well maintained and most of the tee decks were good except for a couple under repairs. Golf carts are quiet electric. Only downside was we were waiting on almost every tee for the twosome in front of us (3) who were also waiting on a twosome in front of them to move along so they could tee off. It was a twosome in fro…

Just a stones throw away from the airport, surrounded by several well known hotels, in a "gully" lies this undulating, ball grabbing, lake and ravine filled Par 71 course. A bit noisy from the planes landing and taking off, but features several dogs legs to the left on the front and a couple right on the back. The par 5s were relatively short in that if you take an aggresive shot around the corners, a chip into the green can be obtained. First time playing this course, 5 birdies !! Big shout out to the Cart Girl ...Daniela who ensured we got cold ones :)

We had a really disappointing experience here. Staff was good, but after we made an honest mistake on the course, we were approached by the owner who was incredibly aggressive and used a lot of foul language towards us. Constantly swearing. The way we were treated was completely unprofessional and ruined our day. We won't be returning.

My husband and I have played 4 rounds here so far and really enjoy this course. It is beautiful and lush with many streams to cross which are not only scenic, but challenges your course management. The greens are my favourite part, very large, tricky and well kept. Everyone in the pro shop and the starters we’ve met so far are very friendly and helpful. The round includes a quiet electric cart and is great value for the money.

Have played much nicer/better kept courses for a fraction of the price. If the staff/marshal cared half as much about the course itself as they do the perception online, it would be alright but unfortunately that is not the case.
