Indian Palms Golf & Country Club

We stayed one night at Indian Palms Country Club and overall had a neutral-to-positive experience. It provided exactly what I needed for a quick overnight stay. The room itself was a bit outdated, but you can tell it was once very nice. It had all the basics: a comfortable enough bed, microwave, mini fridge, TV, iron and ironing board, a small counter with two chairs, a ceiling fan, and an A/C unit. This was the worst hotel that I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in many over the years. Do not be fooled by the fact that it's in a golf club. It's a dump. Only one of the beds had a blanket, and it was torn. The ceiling was as thin as cardboard and I was awakened at 5:00 a.m. when the people in the upper story woke up and started walking around. The whole thing was dated and grimy, and the linens were terrible. Just the worst experience. Thank God I was staying alone and hadn't brought the family.

If this had been just one bad issue, I could have overlooked it. Unfortunately, the problems with this hotel were widespread and point to serious management failure. A few examples: -Check-in during normal evening hours was unreliable because no one was there, and even during posted business hours the front desk often did not answer the phone. -Staff seemed unfamiliar with basic information about the hotel and its amenities, and were generally unhelpful. Showed up for out 1:58 tee time that we booked over the phone and the guy over the phone told us it was 55 per person. We get here and go to pay and the kid who was really not good at his job charged us 65 and basically told us oh well instead of calling for his boss. Really kind of bullshit

Bad Customer Service. No one at front desk reception for over 15 minutes when I came in early 4 hours before 4pm check-in to reschedule my stay. Gave me the run initially around via text and email that they couldn't reschedule or credit my account because I used booking.com, but booking.com said to email them to ask for exception to their policy to not reschedule or give credit, and then they responded in booking.com saying request denied. This is despite mass vacancies for the dates I wished to reschedule (just one week later). I lost one day's worth of money, they lost approximately 3 weeks…

No greens! Horrible condition and the staff could care less if you come back. Absolutely not worth the money being charged today.

The Airbnb was pretty and the golf course view was beautiful. I would definitely stay sgain.

Indian palms bar is exceptionally great the service is attentive the drinks are tasty and made to your preferred strength… food is pleasurable. I would recommend this place for whatever occasion .

This place is a complete disaster. Indian Palms Country Club & Resort should be embarrassed to call itself a golf course or a resort. The “greens” and “fairways” were nothing but patches of dirt and weeds — unplayable, ugly, and easily the worst course I’ve seen in Southern California. The “resort” side is even more of a joke. My room was filthy and falling apart, with an air conditioner that barely sputtered in 105° heat. We played golf here. The rate listed on there info page said $45. It was actually $95. No one at the desk cared what the website said and showed no signs of checking into correcting it. Golf course was only worth around $45. Greens were terrible. Tee markers and signage needed improvement.
