Innsbruck Golf Club

The layout is challenging. The views were inspiring. The course was smoked. Seems lots of places have struggled with their turf this season. 5-stars for being able to 100% solo with no one else ar I understand.

Any rating higher than one star is a joke! After more than 40 years of playing golf, I can honestly say Valhalla Golf Course in Helen, GA is the worst-conditioned course I have ever played. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in terrible shape, with very little healthy grass and clear signs of neglect throughout the course. Several fairways contained exposed manholes and eroded areas that created safety hazards. Unfortunately, recent reviews from other golfers report many of the same issues, suggesting these problems are ongoing rather than temporary. Other than a few scenic mountain view…

This course is in awful shape. The $55 rate charged for 18 holes of golf is ridiculous, especially with the state of the course. The service at the course is good, but there is definitely room to improve the condition.

Beautiful course lots of nature. Very difficult narrow fairways. Lost almost all my balls lol. Was disappointed to see the houses starting to get built on this pristine nature. One house was literally 5 ft off the green with tacky yard signs.

Honestly the fairways and greens were a mess. The greens especially so. Crabgrass all over the place even on the greens. Many greens have areas of multiple square feet that are more or less dirt. You can see that it Could be amazing and they get an extra star for the old guy in the pro shop and some of the views. Also the gps on the carts malfunctions a lot so you end up having to back up at 1mph for, in one case, 100 yards before it would realize we were not off the cart path and let us go forward. This place is beautiful and tucked away. Welcoming pink wine, great food and drinks, very comfortable beds , awesome shower and clean linens. The best part was in the Morning when we opened the drapes was the moist beautiful palette of autumn color we were hoping yo see. Right in the backyard!! Sometimes the most unexpected destinations are the best!!! We will definitely be returning and taking part of all the amenities this resort has!! Thank you again!!

Very bad shape. The guy did reduce our price to 40.00 because of green aeration. Still definitely not worth it. Front 9 was quick. No waiting. Came around to 10 and there were 10 ppl on the tee box. Where did they come from. Why? It took forever. They no longer have the GPS screens on the carts. The course is now covered in skanky houses. All good things come to an end, as they say. Another example right here!

My husband and I have been trying to get to Hellen and stay at Valhalla for 3 years! Sadly we've sad to cancel reservations a few times due to uncontrollable circumstances. Ms. Jan who's handled our reservations and the many times we've had to reschedule due to death in the family, surgeries etc. She's been nothing shy of an angel! We finally made it this past fall and it was amazing! We walked on and she was there and greeted us with a huge hug it felt like family! Our niece had her wedding there on Saturday! We were so impressed with the resort the grounds were beautiful The reception was outstanding the food top notch the pork that we were served was so tender!! What a beautiful golf course! If you are in the North Georgia area and haven't played here, you should. Bring a few extra golf balls as this is a challenging course. The staff is very friendly and they have a great clubhouse!
