In summary

Achasta Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful setting in North Georgia, well-maintained course, and challenging layout designed by Jack Nicklaus, which includes strategic hazards and scenic water features. The staff is often described as welcoming and attentive, and the club offers excellent practice facilities and amenities. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with the condition of certain tee boxes and greens, particularly when recently aerated, and have noted issues with cart policies and pricing during such times.

I recently played achasta today, I have played here many times before and had very good experiences. Today as I showed up I realized the course was not in the condition I’m used to, also the greens were recently punched. Every time I have played on punched greens at achasta is was a discounted price. Today was not. For 120 dollars this course was not in shape. Multiple tee boxes with no grass at all and freshly punched greens and no discount

I had an amazing experience at the Achasta Golf Community this past weekend. Securing a tee time through Golf Now was a remarkable opportunity, given the rarity of availability. The course, although predominantly flat, offers intriguing water features and multiple hazards, making it an exciting challenge for any skill level. The pace of play moved smoothly, even in the absence of a Marshal. Employees were, without exception, welcoming and pleasant. I'd heartily recommend Achasta for an enjoyable golfing experience. It's a treat not to be missed.

Played on punched greens and paid $120. Couldn’t tell where any of my putts were even going to go. Multiple tee boxes were completely sand with no grass will never play again for that price.

Achasta is a fun 18 holes of golf! The greens are in great shape and the fairways are nice and open. Lots of different teeing grounds allow for all levels of play. This Jack Nicklaus design is fair, with a mix of risk and reward holes. Some of the tee boxes have taken a beating, but everything else was in great shape. Enjoy the hidden gem in North Georgia. Furthermore, thank you to the Cute Delta girl who suggested the Dahlonega getaway!

Beautiful golf course ! Can be challenging with the river & streams winding thru the manicured greens. The entire staff was attentive and plesant. Loved it, can't wait to get back

Outstanding golf course with beautiful views. Amenities are superior. Practice are excellent. Rough patches around some tee boxes and some greens, but overall it is a wonderful golf course. Restaurant offered an excellent lunch as well.

The course and staff were fantastic. The practice areas were nice as most courses. It has a fun somewhat challenging layout. The greens were a little long, but well maintained.

Terrible experience. Booked a Tee time for well over 100$ on my birthday. Was thinking of joining because it’s about 30 mins from my home and thought it would be a great place to spend days with the fam. Get there with my wife who plans to ride along with me (as many couples do) and am told they only allow 2 carts per group and no exceptions would be made. Not sure if this rule is unique to them but it’s a dumb rule. That implies even as a member if my wife wanted to ride with me she can’t because “they stay booked up”. Then they recommend to have my wife stand on the back on the cart. I thoug…

Took a day of PTO from work and hired a babysitter to enjoy a day in the sun with my wife. She doesn't golf, but likes to ride along. When we arrived to the course however, I was told I'd have to share a cart with a random, and when I explained that I had brought my wife along, the general manager suggested we squeeze her in the middle. Obviously, stuffing my wife in the middle of myself and a stranger for 5 hours on a hot summer day wasn't going to happen. How weird is that for us and how unfair is that to the random? Really odd all around. Naturally, I declined this "offer" and asked if I…

Course is decent. Layout is cooler. Every bunker is under repair. Young club house guy acts like he hates his life lol. Both players paying cart fees and being forced to ride with each other is also nonsense. The course isn’t nice enough to have a rule like that. I’ll go to chattahoochee instead.

Great golf course, and most play golf destination. Easy as well as very challenging golf holes. The fairways are great and large for most of the holes, and the greens are fast and true. Great practice area and has a wonderful staff. There is a restaurant on the premises. Recommend.
