Jackson park is a local Seattle course that is relatively near the city and is in pretty good shape, despite the wet climate. The course is surrounded by tall foresty trees, and has lots of interesting opportunities to challenge yourself. From the tips, the course plays a bit longer than its 6100 yards total distance because it has several holes that are uphill and into the wind. The grass coverage and upkeep is pretty good and the greens are usually in excellent shape. There are a few greens that are relatively steep and breaking, so you will get a great opportunity to practice your lag put…

It's a great course to have at this price point and location relative to the city. Usually plays decently quickly. No, it's not at the same level as $100+ daily fee public courses or other courses an hour+ away - but a challenging design relative to the course rating, very playable conditions, and covenient

Practice facilities are great! Chipping and practice green in excellent condition. Just wish there was a bunker. Haven't played the courses yet. Visiting the area.

Nice little course, however the teepads are worse than useless being about 2' square, makes them tripping hazards. If the adjacent par 3 ball course is busy at all, it will be slow to play while alternating with ball golfers. Signs are needed badly

Can we do something about this please? It's been like this for several weeks now. Not a huge fan of stepping on broken glass pieces when I'm trying to fix my slice.

I haven't played golf in about 20 years. It was a really fun outing and a pretty course as the sun came up. The grounds seem well-kept for a public golf course. The pace is about four and a half hours. A great course for a beginner like me!

Favorite golf course by far, constantly maintained to a very high standard, flags are moved around every single day, and the greens and tee boxes get weedeated and blown twice weekly. The food is reasonably priced, ESPECIALLY considering the cost of life in Seattle. The Cafe staff are friendly, fast, and attentive, and the maintainence staff are always in a positive mood. The water is sustainably sourced from Thornton creek and returned after use by nature. Hands down one of my favorite places to be, golf or otherwise.

Honestly I hate this course and the staff is just filled with warm bodies. They only pep up if you’re loud. I’ve played here 5 times now and I just can’t recommend this course especially given the price half the time. The golf course… The fairways and tee boxes have been rough and inconsistent for every visit. Slow pace and traffic jams make it even worse. You’re better off going to the Nile for something fun yet challenging.. You have to play to the natural slope of the course to score low and I just find that incredibly tedious. Especially with all the inconsistencies among the course. Yo…

The café at Jackson Park Golf Course is excellent! Grilled chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun...great range for full swing practice and the chipping/pitching green near hole #7 is awesome for short game skillz.

This golf course and facility has everything any level of golfers would want. There are an 18 hole professional course and a 9 hole beginner course. There is a modern driving range with two decks and Top Tracer° are available. The restaurant has a good menu and nice dining with a TV tuned to the most recent golf and sporting events. The Pro Shop has plenty of golf and sports related goods. A lot of money has been put into overall course improvements lately.

My favorite municipal course in the Seattle area! The course is well maintained, managed and clean as well. I’d say it’s a tad bit challenging. Greens are a bit quick. They also have a driving range to practice before a round.
