In summary

Nile Shrine Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, strategic layout, and affordability, making it a popular choice for golfers in the Seattle area. The course offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience with its shorter length and undulating topography, appealing to various skill levels. While the staff is generally praised for their friendliness, some visitors have expressed frustration with booking policies for solo golfers and occasional inconsistencies in customer service.

Nile offers affordable rates, and I was pleasantly surprised to find amazing deals on Columbia gear—50% off! My favorite hole is #13, a beautiful par 3 with a nice drop downhill (back 9 was more “fun” than front 9, with some narrow fairways!). The only downside is that the clubhouse isn’t open, so you can’t grab a drink before, during, or after your round. Despite the course being packed, the pace of play was excellent, and we finished 18 holes within regulation time. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth a visit!

This is a great affordable track in the Seattle area. While it is a shorter course, it offers some challenging holes and makes it great for practice while not breaking the bank. The greens are in awesome condition for the price and the tee boxes are in decent shape. Secluded location and great views. It’s by no means the nicest course in the greater Seattle area but the conditions and value rival or beat a lot of more expensive tracks in the area I can say that.

This course’s management doesn’t seem to accommodate single golfers at all. You can’t call in or reserve a spot as a single, which forces you to go through GolfNow, book for two players, and then cancel one, an unnecessary and frustrating workaround. I also had a poor experience with wait times. I called ahead and was told there would be a 30-minute wait. When I arrived just 10 minutes later, that estimate had jumped to 50 minutes, which suggests a lack of coordination or communication. On top of that, the pro shop staff could benefit from improving their customer service. The interaction fe…

This is a golf course that’s not too long but offers excellent quality. The fairways are forgiving and easy to play, while the greens are fun to putt on. Hole 13, a par-3 downhill shot, is both challenging and beautiful—a true highlight of the course.

My favorite short course ever! Great design, greens, and we'll groomed for every day play. The Nile course is in great shape and well kept.

Had a good time, will play again as long as the walking and playing distances are right for my fitness and ability (some of the hills are killer though, and the rental push carts convinced me it's time to buy my own push cart). Mainly came here to say the staff were great. It was my first time there, and the guy who checked me in was very friendly and helpful, despite how very dumb I sounded (I mean, there's signage, but the signs are small, so I missed some of them). Couldn't book a tee time online as a single, which is pretty normal, but there was no issue getting me on for 18 when I showed…

Incredible course for the price, no par 5s but I enjoy playing it much more than Jackson. Greens are in great shape and has a few memorable holes! Everyone I interacted with was also friendly.

If you're looking for a haunted house thats actually decent this is the place to go. There was multiple themes, plenty of actors, it felt really well put together and I would recommend it to anyone.

I went the morning after a pretty rainy day and the course was very well maintained. Easy to get in as a single on a Friday morning, and very reasonably priced.

Always a fun time. Played in mid November after a few days of rain and it was soggy but fairways and greens were in great shape. I do wish they would bring back allowing solo golfers to book tee times instead of having to queue up.

Joe Korn and his friendly staff are fantastic. The course is well manicured and maintained from tee to green. Make sure to see the rose garden behind the 7th hole and vegetable garden at the 10th tee!

I live just five minutes from Nile Shrine and play this course frequently. It's a short, par-67 layout with no par 5s, but don’t let that fool you—it’s both challenging and enjoyable. The course is perfect for honing mid-iron and short-game skills, which has noticeably improved my performance on longer courses. As a solo golfer, I appreciate how easy it is to get out w/o a tee time, especially given its proximity to my home. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is the current condition of the greens. Nile Shrine is typically a fantastic value, with the course maintained in excellent s…
