In summary

Judith Shadows Golf Course receives praise for its friendly and accommodating staff, scenic views, and excellent pizza, making it a popular spot for both golf and dining. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the course conditions, citing issues with the greens and fairways, as well as occasional confusion with the layout. Despite these criticisms, the overall atmosphere and service are appreciated by many.

First time here with my boys on our long golf weekend and our way to Big Timber. Greens were horrible. All of them small and need to be redone. Considered them corduroy due to the continued lines in the greens and lots of moss. Just terrible. Layout slightly confusing and if there were a lot of people playing in the course, someone could get hurt if you were not paying attention. Plus, cater to your clients and have some damn hotdogs as I cannot imaging waiting for a pizza or some tacos.

Had fun golfing this course. We especially enjoyed the signs at the tee box with a little local insight into the hole. Actually came in very handy. Some holes were challenging navigating the layout, but we had a phone app to show the holes so that helped. Locals helped us with an especially difficult hole layout so we appreciate them! 100 degree temps and a drought so will not judge the condition of the course.

The location looks and feels remote, yet a couple miles out of town. Homemade, delicious pizzas. Excellent views. The owners are delightful. Highly recommended!

We thought we’d try something new. So we went to their restaurant. 10 minutes before the waitress acknowledged us. Another 10 before our order was taken. Another 30 minutes before the food showed up. Appetizer and pizza at the same time instead of how it should have been. Pizza dough under cooked. Toppings over cooked. Crab ragoon was burnt and the rib lets over cooked. Just a real disappointment for my wife’s birthday. They have great reviews is why we went. We won’t be back. Prices versus quality is a big zero for me.

Went out on a Tuesday evening for a special martini (went on "Lime Drop" night) with friends. Got three different pizzas - all were super tasty! I wasn't delighted spending $12 on a martini, but it was yummy. Then I moved on to the (cough cough) cheaper drinks and enjoyed the beautiful view, great live music, nice wait staff, and fab pizza.

I never leave one star reviews, but this place earned it. This isn’t a golf course. It’s a cow pasture that was mowed down enough to find a golf ball in places. The greens are the worst I’ve ever seen, just dirt and moss. It looked like they tried to dethatch with a skillsaw despite not having any grass. I would have better luck putting in my gravel driveway. I thoroughly would not recommend this course. We straight up did not have a good time.

Visiting from out of state, they were super accommodating and patient with me and my kiddos. Our experience was just better because the hosts literally told me to chill out and have fun, because that's what they were all about ❤️ and it makes the experience better...they were right and we were thankful!

Horrific. Tee boxes were garbage, fairways were pasture grass full of clover not fairways, greens were either solid dirt or moss. Just horrible conditions. We drove from Great Falls to Lewistown to use our golf and go pass and won't be returning. Sorry your course doesn't get a kick back from the passes because it seems you could really use some funds to water, seed, feed and fix that disaster. Ps....we left after 4 holes... consider the 18 hole cart and trail fee a donation to fix the course.
