In summary

Keith Hills Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained and challenging 27-hole layout, friendly staff, and excellent practice facilities. Visitors appreciate the unique character of each nine-hole course and the accommodating nature of the staff, particularly for those with special needs or preferences. However, some guests have expressed concerns about inconsistent course conditions, issues with cart path restrictions, and occasional maintenance oversights, which can detract from the overall experience.

First time back to alma mater’s course since graduating 15 years ago. Pro shop staff was very friendly, a lot of Campbell gears and other branded golf gears. Driving range is on grass but that day I visited the grass conditions were not good, felt like hitting off the bunker the entire time. The course consists of 27 holes. Played the black and orange track, the conditions were really good, challenging yet fun to play. Could eat you alive easily with the layouts. Overall a great course and will certainly go back again

We booked a tee time at 12:30 for 9 holes then we showed and the lady said we booked for 18 and can’t do 9 after we done paid for it, Half the people in are party couldn’t stay and play 18 holes cause they were in a time crunch, Fine so be it will play on, We proceed to play on anyways cause we came to have fun but the golf course was very rugged to a point i was nearly spraining my ankle ever step i take, there was trash about every corner you looked at at the club house and all through out the 9 holes we played, We went and try to get food at the club house at 3:00 and the lady was rude to u…

Played the course yesterday and it is in very good shape considering the amount of rain we have had this summer. The rain did limit carts to paths, which is where our issue came into play. I’m not sure who draws the GPS maps limiting where the carts are “allowed” to drive but on the cart paths should definitely be included on the map. Our carts were stopping ON THE CART PATHS several times throughout the round, which required reversing direction to clear the issue. Just a great reminder that it’s best to walk rather than ride anyway; it’s cheaper and healthier.

Some golfers that frequent this course have been known to use golf balls to smash windshields indiscriminately of cars parked at Campbell’s Health Science campus. Keith Hills ensures the student must pay for the damages caused by their golfers.

I play Keith Hills whenever I am in Raleigh to visit family. The 3 different nines are all unique and provide different challenges. I am never disappointed when playing here! I usually come by myself and have been paired with wonderful people every time. I played once with 3 students in the PGM program and they were so friendly (they were 20 year old males with me a 60 something female). We had a blast! I have been paired with the Women's Basketball Coach and had one of the most enjoyable rounds ever. My 92 year old father can't play anymore but enjoys riding along with me. Keith Hills is ve…

Was here for a PGA qualifier. I was a.Spectator. was kinda nice but needed work. Seemed to have a lot of bad spots on the course. They could have had so e storms. I've been to other clubs and some of the small things like some safety hazards. There was one place on one of the bridges that was missing a whole section of the rail where someone could fall. Was odd to see something like this this day and time and it nit be blocked off. It was a PGA event and they didn't allow cart rentals for this even even though my son called ahead and they said they did offer it. Understand it's a PGA rule but…

One of the best courses around. The practice facilities are comprehensive with opportunity to hit every club in the bag. The short pitch/chip is a bonus. Working on those 30-60 yard shots. The 27 hole / three 9 hole course layout is a fun challenge with beautiful holes. This is a shot makers course that is maintained beautifully. You won’t be disappointed!

Hadn’t been to this venue in three years. We had a group 11 Seniors. It was the worst experience I’ve had on a golf course. The staff was friendly , the price was reasonable . However , the course was not in very good shape ! Greens had many dying spots ,etc. But the worst part was the holes that were CPO!!! At least 7 holes and the course was dry as a bone!! My cart had been set for handicap player, yet still had to walk on half the holes!!! Some of us had to quit after so many holes, putted only. All in all it was the worst experience in my 61 yrs of playing. None of the 11 will be back !!

Been a couple years since I've played here and the course has come together nice. Today I played Orange and Black. On to the review. Tee Boxes 4/5 - There are a number of short par 4s that suffer from the iron use. Other than that they are fine. Fairways 5/5 - No significant issues of dead or soggy areas, they have cart path rules for certain holes after rain to prevent wear and tear. Greens 4/5 - A couple years ago, the greens on Orange were super firm and prevented balls from checking up. They have since settled and hold shots well. There are some areas of repair that are noticeable, but…
