Wanted to just change it up for our Sunday afternoon round. Was 40 dollars which is fine but they charged 40 dollars for my friends 11 year old who only played maybe 4 holes. Charged 20 dollars for my 9 year old to ride. Thats fine but then made him cram in between me and another one of my friends. When I ask about why I paid and my friend paid and now I am also paying for my son to ride was berated by the guy that was there blowing off carts. This guy could be the most miserable person I have ever met. I was simply asking if I was paying for a rider I should have had a cart for me and him. He…

Will never return to this golf course. The owner couldn't compose himself when asked a simple question regarding his greens. Instead of professionally and calmly giving his reason for growing grass in late June, he berated and scolded me like I was a child and told me I didn't know what the hell I was talking about. That owner was right. Im new to golf and wasn't sure what the reason was and was hoping to learn. After that treatment I could care less. Also he tried to convince me that another local golf course in the area charged more than what I told him it cost. Called that same golf course…

Absolutely love playing here. Matter of fact, play here about every Sunday afternoon. However, I have lived on a golf course growing up (much nicer than Sandy Ridge might I add) and I promise I know proper golf etiquette. I don’t need the guy on the golf cart to constantly harass me. I pay money to RIDE with my boyfriend who plays, leave me alone. Definitely will keep coming by just hoping someone sees this and chills out. 😃

I play a lot of different golf courses inside of a 50 mile radius of Dunn. I've seen great, seen average, and seen bad. When cost, condition and value is considered, you CANNOT beat S.R., especially the cost of membership. It is worth noting, S.R. hired a new course superintendent. I have not met him yet, but just played on 3/14, and the work he and the crew are putting into the course is evident. Lot's of fertilizer has gone down in preparation for the greener months ahead. And the bunkers were raked and playable. As someone who knows what goes into making a considerable improvement to the co…

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Couldn’t have been worse. My front yard is maintained better than the fairways, the greens were like dried mud holes. Someone was riding around on a cart yelling at us to stay on the cart path when there were no signs telling us to exit the fairway. Poor customer service and an even worse course. 1/10 would never recommend. WORST ROUND OF GOLF EVER!!

This course is absolutely horrible. The owners have horrible customer service. The owner followed my group around and barked orders at us several times to “stay off the pinestraw” and to not pair up with the group in front of us (which we were all together). The fairways were mostly sand. And the Greens looked like they were dried up puddles of water. I definitely do not recommend this course to anyone at all. Save your money and play somewhere else.

I want to like this course as I like the layout....plenty of varied play....and I've played here a few times over the last 2 years. But the greens this week were in shambles. Absolutely awful. They make Knights Play pitch and putt greens look like Keith Hills. $30 for this course is nuts at this current state. Bring the greens and tee boxes up to par, pun intended, and I'll play again....until then.... I'll spend a little more and play at Keith Hills or Riverwood or Eagle Ridge.

Cut my teeth playing here after service. I'm a member because my son loves playing here! Fairways on the front can be a bit challenging in the form of condition; however, the ability to score well on the front makes up for it. This is a great course to play after a rain because it needs water and very rarely floods out. Great service and always a fun experience.

The course is terrible. The greens are the worst. The club house has nothing going for it and worst of all it has a 10 cent millionaire for an owner. The best thing for this course is to shut down. The owner has the worst disposition I have ever seen . They lied about the greens fees it’s $30 to play. You would have a better time flushing it down the toilet.

Played there 8/8/21. This was my first time here. Course was in good shape. Greens were slow but rolled good. Well worth the weekend fee of $30. Will definitely be back.

This course has good bones, and is a great value. From the whites the course is straightforward, and from the blues there are a few par 3's and 4's with teeth. There are lots of bunkers around the greens, and some of the short holes have greens are effectively surrounded by bunkers, so be thoughtful about your approaches. In particular, there are two short par 4's that invite you to drive the green, but be sure to scout these before you go for them, as they have significant bunkering to protect the greens. The layout is solid, with different holes requiring tee shots that turn left, right, and…
