In summary

Knollwood Golf & Country Club is frequently praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained courses, and friendly, accommodating staff, making it a popular choice for both golf and weddings. The course layout offers a mix of challenging holes suitable for various skill levels, though some golfers mention that the course could benefit from better maintenance, particularly concerning tee boxes and greens. Additionally, while the venue provides a picturesque location for weddings, it primarily offers venue-only rentals, requiring couples to arrange their own vendors for additional services.

My partner and I toured Knollwood as a potential wedding venue. Although we ended up booking elsewhere, there was lots to love here. Pros: - Beautiful reception hall with large windows and rustic wooden accents, as well as a working stone fireplace - Nice inclusions, including the cross-back wooden chairs and twinkling lights - On-site ceremony spot with mature trees and a creek behind the altar - Access to an outdoor porch space - Andie who led the tour was great. Professional, friendly, and able to answer all of our questions. She clearly laid out what weddings look like at the site and wha…

Decent price and the course is in pretty good shape. Still, it’s a solid spot for beginners or shorter hitters 👍

Fair price course is in good condition. Too many force layups and doglegs for me personally. Playing the blue tees I was blocked out on multiple tee shots which wasn’t great. An arborist would be beneficial on some holes. Overall I would recommend this course for beginners or shorter hitters.

Knollwood new course is a great course. Very good mix of challenging holes that will challenge low to high handicap players. The course is in great condition and the greens are fast and tricky to read. The staff are friendly and carts are clean and in good condition. I thoroughly enjoyed my round and highly recommend this course.

My rating of this course is mixed. I think the rolling hills that this course is built on are awesome and The layout course is very nice. There are some neat/interesting holes like the 8th and 18th holes. The green of the 17th was fantastic!! On the downside, the course needs to be better maintained. Tee blocks need to be re-sodded. Greens were shaggy and slow but it is the end of November so I’ll let that slide. Other Constructive criticism: add bunkers to this course. I don’t think that I saw one. Clear out some of the trees on approach to the 3rd green and on the approach to the 5th green.…

I recently had my wedding at the new course, Harris Hall and it was absolutely amazing. I can't even put into words how organized and smooth everything went with all the staff at Knollwood. Not to mention the GM, Steve who clearly loves his job! He was there the night before to ensure everything was how I wanted it and everything was Okay. He was the one that actually set up everything the night before and he would let me peek to make sure everything was okay whenever I wanted (the night before of course) haha! :) The food was absolutely amazing! everyone is still talking about how amazing the…

We had our wedding at Knollwood Golf Course and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, the team was incredibly flexible and accommodating, allowing us to tailor the day to our vision. Andie and Nadia were absolutely fantastic to work with. They were kind, responsive, and a joy to be around throughout the entire process. Andie went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day. She anticipated every detail — from ensuring my grandparents had a chair during cocktail hour, arranging a golf cart lift between the cocktail hour and reception, an…

Greens were in very bad shape and now marshall on course, people were yelling and screaming/playing loud music. was like playing golf at a frat party. would not recommend this course to any one. payed $ 82 to golf with cart, this place is not worth the money to play. My advise to anyone think off booking this course is to stay away.

I have been golfing at Knollwood for many years both the New and Old Course. Based on the price and value you certainly get your monies worth. Staff and Starters are friendly and accommodating and the New Course always has it challenges and you need to place your shots. The New Course has been in exceptional shape despite the heatwave this summer. I would definitely recommend. Note this is not a beginners course.

Nice course. Lots of trouble to get into. At least there was for me. Greens were on the slow side. Overall, well worth it.
