In summary

Knollwood Golf Course is praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained course, and accommodating staff, making it a popular choice for weddings and special events. However, some visitors express concerns about the slow pace of play and management issues, such as unorganized tee times and inadequate marshaling. Despite these criticisms, the venue is noted for its excellent amenities and attention to detail during events.

Played on 4/19/2026 and had a nice time a KCC. We went out early, and pace of play was almost 5 hours. Course was in great shape, and would give 5 stars except that several tee boxes were not level, and some of the holes were not cut very well (less than a full cup width at top). It's a precision course, so bombers beware. If you like shaping shots both left and right, and hitting less than driver on some par 4s, you can have a lot of fun here. Great serene and quiet location too.

"We recently celebrated my parents' (Marco and Marta) 50th Wedding Anniversary at Knollwood Country Club, and it was an absolutely unforgettable evening. A huge thank you to our captains, Christopher Garzia and Carlos Salinas, and the Director of F&B, Kristina Rose Turner. Their attention to detail and professionalism were exceptional. Christopher even shared that it was his own birthday, yet he spent it making sure my parents' golden anniversary was perfect—that kind of dedication is rare!. The service was seamless, the food was delicious and well-presented, and the entire team went above and…

Service experience was terrible. Was met by a young Asian guy in the pro shop that was extremely disrespectful. That man either hated his job and life or gets a kick out of being spiteful. After that I was met with over a 5 hour round of golf due to poor management. Course was in great shape though and played awesome, if only the employees and management would do better.

My husband and I could not be more thankful that we chose this venue for our wedding. First, it is BEAUTIFUL inside and out! The food was amazing and the staff was so attentive! We definitely felt like a king and queen at our wedding. Christopher was wonderful and so sweet always checking in to make sure my husband and I had everything we needed! Knollwood was everything we wanted and more and the process from booking the venue all the way up to our wedding day was easy and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Never felt so disrespected as a female golfer. First of all, the group in front of us had one of their members a couple minutes behind in their tee time, Marshall said nothing but it’s was no biggie, group in front was already behind… but 3 times in our round we had the marshal come up to us and tell us WE were the reason the course was help up… didn’t tell us that they were telling everyone, but instead that we were the reason for the backup. They told us this in the tee of a par 4 with the group in front of us about 150 yards on the fairway.. then they came up again to yell at us while the g…

This place has potential, but management is terrible. No marshal, no one checking tee times, so you end up at the first hole (if you can get a cart, which they are always short on due to long pace of play)with 3 others groups waiting, and then guess what, you wait for the next 9 holes over 2.5 hours. Most tee times aren't even checked, so you have people in front of you with later tee times somehow. They space them out 4 minutes apart...... Pure insanity, this place needs better management and course oversight, or stop charging for 18 holes when you can barely get 9 in.

This is a very good golf course. Great staff and good greens / fairways. But this might be one of the slowest pace of play courses in LA County. No Marshall seen anywhere attempting to speed up players. If you like 5 hour rounds, this is your course.

A gorgeous venue to host your wedding reception that you wouldn't know it's in the valley. We came to a wedding reception here last night and I thought this would be a perfect place to host your wedding reception if you have around 150 guest. The parking spaces is perfect since they have their own lot, the bar is a decent size and the reception all has a nice view outside along with the inside design. I really like how they set up the lights and ceiling but if you want to add your own wedding theme colors, you'll have to rent some up-lighting and etc. You can also have your wedding ceremony ou…

TL;DR: This grand ballroom at this venue was perfect for what my husband and I wanted for our wedding. The experience, atmosphere, and food were all amazing, and we have gotten so many compliments for our guests. Hire this venue and Melissa and Crystal, their wedding coordinators, you won’t regret it. Wow wow wow, this venue is beautiful. It had both of what my husband and I were looking for our wedding — a place to party all night without noise restrictions and an outdoor area to relax in. And this venue could not have turned out to be better for this vibe. We had both our ceremony and recep…

We had our Passover Seder at this place a couple of years ago. Not happy with the portion of food that was given on our plates. We are not children and I bet if the staff and the owner were serving themselves they would not be so ration minded and would give themselves a generous portion. For the amount of money we spent per plate I would expect a portion for adults not 5 year olds. Going there again for this Passover 2026 to give it one last try. If it happens again I will be celebrating Passover with Adat Yeshua in the future. Their Passover Seder is buffet style (except for the meat portion…

The formerly private, now public country club is not only popular with the locals, it’s now also the destination for visiting youth groups, schools and organizations! I think the golf course is among the most beautiful open green spaces in the San Fernando Valley, notwithstanding drought conditions! The clubhouse makes for a great setting to have private functions, including weddings and receptions. There’s a large parking lot, able to accommodate golfers and guests. Busses and large vehicles can go up top to drop off and pick up, with standby parking space for those as well. A down side for s…
