In summary

Kukuiolono Golf Course is praised for its incredible value, stunning views, and friendly staff, offering a unique golfing experience on Kauai. The course provides a relaxed atmosphere with a variety of activities, including mini golf and disc golf, and is appreciated for its affordability and picturesque setting. However, some visitors mention that the greens can be challenging due to their hard and dry conditions, and the cash-only policy may be inconvenient for some.

Came here the first day of our trip as a warm up. Range is off grass and has an amazing view. Course is quirky and fun. For the price and how it's setup, come ready for a really cheap golf outing on a beautiful island, don't come looking to post an incredible score. The greens are like concrete, so approaches and chips go bouncing back over the green if you're running it up. Great views all around. Your green fee covers you to play as much as you want, but you are using a cart you have to pay the cart fee each time around. If you are at all a serious golfer, I'd probably just go play Wailua. I…

This place was so Awesome 🤩. Yeah the fairways maybe aren’t the greenest, but for $15 I certainly don’t care. Not to mention some places double or triple the green fees if you’re not local, as this place doesn’t. I also didn’t find this out till I was done, but the green fee you pay is ALL DAY. Needless to say I will be back during our stay on the island and get there early enough to get another round in. Also as shown in picture #4, I am going to do the par 3 tee boxes next time I visit. Thank you for this course I absolutely LOVED it 🥰

Beautiful garden. Very picturesque. A great place to visit and walk around the paths. And it's FREE. My family and I enjoyed our little walk around the garden and looking at all the beautiful things there. My grandson loved chasing the chickens that kept surrounding him.

Such a nice little park. There's a small Hawaiian rock garden and a Japanese garden. A path takes you to a pavilion where there are beautiful views. It was a nice place to get out and stretch our legs. Oh, there is also a golf and frisbee golf course. 9 hole par3. Longest hole is 244.

Incredible value! Very friendly staff. Has a grass range for $5/bucket. This 9-hole course is maintained similar to a typical municipal course but at half the price (or better). $15 for unlimited rounds is unbelievably good. Cart fee is $15 per cart per 9 holes. The views are incredible. I will definitely come back next time I'm on Kauai.

Holy cow. What an awesome 9-hole track. $15 cash-only to walk it, carts and pull carts available as well. No tee times; just show up. Tee shirts and tennis shoes are fine. Taco place on site was excellent. Open fairways, good vibes, great views. Skip the pricey resort courses and come play with the locals instead!

What they don’t tell you: On Thursday and Friday they close down at 3:45 to allow disc golfers out. We were told that so long as we got back to the clubhouse before 4:00pm we could pay for another 9 hole cart rental and were surprised when we got there at 3:47pm and were told that we couldn’t go out at all.

Kukuiolono Park & Golf Course is a COMPLETE HIDDEN GEM on the island of Kauai! We stayed at a high end VRBO in Koloa where we paid high end money to golf 18 holes. As we drove over to the Port Allen area to drop people off for a day of snorkeling (boring), we came across this 9 hole course off the beaten path. Thinking it was just an executive course, was our first mistake. It is a full blow 9 hole course, but if you want to play it as a executive Par 3, they have markers for it. Expecting to pay a hefty price to golf, the cost was $15 for 9 holes per person, and $15 for a cart, that was split…

THANK YOU, Ginger and the rest of the amazing team!! We loved how the history was shared and the amazing course. We had so much fun here we had to play three different days. It was a perfect addition to our vacation. Thank you for the great prices on everything and the amazing scenery all around. We hope to see you again soon!!

I have returned to Kukuiolono Golf Course every year for about half a decade now. You simply cannot beat the price of this course, and the views are spectacular. Staff are amazingly friendly and personable too, making the experience feel like I am playing my home golf course. The park and golf course also offers a driving range, practice green, mini golf and even disc golf. There is also a pacos tacos restaurant for eats. The drawbacks to this course are that the greens are very challenging to read and play on. The course also plays very hard, and the ball tends to roll a mile on any given s…

$5 for Mini golf on real grass. It was a bit of a challenge due to the “course conditions,” and we all laughed and enjoyed ourselves. After using the driving range and putting green, the three of us rented serviceable clubs and squeezed in after a tournament. No tee times, first come, first served. The course was a kick in the pants, we all had a great time. Will return for sure. When you’re ordering what you want, the older gentleman wants you to be ready and say it all in a certain order. He’s cranky. “Three for a round of golf, three club rental, two women, one man, all right handed.” Restr…

A beautiful location with views for miles and a small but interesting collection of local culture and garden to wander through. The golf course looks challenging and the views as you play must make that worth the effort! Worth at least a short stop or could be a great picnic spot on a lazy afternoon.
