In summary

Lake Joseph Club is highly praised for its beautiful and well-maintained golf course, featuring challenging layouts and stunning natural scenery. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and professionalism, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with the pace of play and limited drink and dessert options, which slightly detract from the otherwise positive experience.

Came here for dinner with my family. Our waiter was terribly nice and she did a phenomenal job! The food was delicious as well. Both shrimp and trout cake appetizer were both flavorful. My main meal which was the fish and chips was probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. You can tell it was freshly made. The reason the club gets a 4/5 is because of the drinks and desserts. They did not have Pina colada or any smoothie style drinks which was a big disappointment. Their menu cocktails are great otherwise. The dessert menu is very underwhelming as they did not have the cheesecake when I w…

What a spectacular day to be out there. Fantastic Club Link course, very fast but true greens in immaculate condition. Too late in the year for a midweek dinner to comment on, however staff and service was great. Would rush back here in a heartbeat. Thanks to my friend Ric for the invite.

This is a Muskoka Showcase. The course is beautiful and the staff is knowledgeable and very polite. The clubhouse is awesome. After golf walk down the lane to the waterfront lakeside restaurant that’s part of the course. Incredibly elegant and breathtaking in its view. Try the $200 seafood tray....it’s the best thing there.

One of my favorite courses in cottage country; beautifully wooded vistas and an enjoyable layout with thoughtful hole design. Highly recommend.

Fun course and well maintained, even in the rain. The pace of play was surprisingly slow despite the weather and cancellations, so I can only imagine it could be much slower on a nice day.

Beautiful course surrounded by trees and laid out to take advantage of the natural lay of the land. Lots of tee options to give you very different looks on a majority of the holes. It's not super punishing in terms of it being tight, but being accurate off the tee will definitely help with the overall enjoyment of the course. Course is in good shape for late September and usually is in great shape regardless of season. The bunkers are perfect with pristine white sand. The driving range is wide with enough targets to get dialed in before your round.

When we arrived at the next hole tee blocks and saw this, we adjusted our expectation on pace of play. No Marshalls to keep the pace moving. Eventually we abandoned the round realizing it would be a 5 hour round and passed 2 completely empty holes on our way out. Sigh. Could be so much better.

Nice course. Found it hard for my first time golfing it. A lot of blind shots.

Great course. Course knowledge is a plus as there are some blind shots.

For an execu-9 its ok. You're paying for the atmosphere. As for the course. It's far from being maintained at that price point. But i was able to take advantage of club link academy pricing for me and my guest. If I had to pay for it, I wouldn't be as satisfied. The course itself is a good mix of close and not-so close. Greens are real slow, could be due to rains and timing. All in all, a solid 3.

Too expensive for spring rolls (3 pieces ) 👎👎 I understand that a lot of white folks have no clue on the values of the food. Spring rolls suppose to be the cheapest ingredients for finger foods
