In summary

Lakeview Hills Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained golf courses, beautiful setting, and attentive staff, with many visitors enjoying the on-site amenities like the restaurants and health club. Guests appreciate the recent renovations and improvements, noting the excellent condition of the greens and fairways. I was unaware they have a health club here. A friend mentioned so wife and I decided to give it a try. I was very impressed. It’s not large and the equipment is older but they have weight! Squat rack, free weights etc. my kind of gym but I am not a cable workout guy. I will definitely return when I am looking to go heavy on my workout. Clean lockerroom , showers and provided towels very cool.

An Unforgettable Celebration of Life at Emilio’s Prime Steakhouse – A Beautiful Tribute to My Dad We recently held a celebration of life for my dad at Emilio’s Prime, and I can’t begin to describe how grateful we are for the incredible experience they created for our family and friends. From the moment we arrived, it was handled with care, grace, and exceptional attention to every detail. The venue itself was absolutely stunning—elegant, warm, and immaculately clean. It provided the perfect setting for both reflection and celebration. The service was extraordinary. The team at Emilio’s went…

Great food. I had the baked wild mushroom chicken. It was amazing. Served with mash potatoes and carrots that were just as amazing. My friends had steak, which was thick and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is beautiful. I went for my birthday. The wait for the food was extraordinary long. Probably felt longer due to no bread or salad served before dinner. That was disappointing, as the dinner prices are high. My chicken was 39.00. It was a very tiny Cornish hen style. Very tiny. But, delicious. So I don’t mind waiting or paying. It really was good. Hard to find good food anywhere. There i…

Very nice resort. Has 2 full 18 hole golf courses, spa services, 2 on site restaurants. Only a few minutes down the road to MI east coast. I do wish on the website it was emphasized that everything needs reservations. Courses were very well maintained even being early in the year and wet. We had dinner at Emilios and it was phenomenal.

We enjoyed the junior suite, which was large with a separate sitting room - perfect to prepare for our family wedding. The staff went far above and beyond to ensure our comfort. My son and now daughter-in-law were married April 26, 2025 in the chapel. The grounds are absolutely stunning with lots of photo opportunities. Hope to stay at this resort again when visiting family.

Recently returned home from an annual golf weekend at Lakeview Hills. Both courses were in great shape, and the greens were excellent across all 36 holes. As always, our group enjoyed another great weekend. Rooms, food, and customer service were all first class. Enjoyed seeing the recent renovations to the property after following along on social media. A lot to be excited about going forward. If you’ve not been by in a while you’re missing out!

San Marino Lounge. Good food, horrible experience. Entered restaurant and no one greeted us. Our group of 8 found a table on our own. We ordered food first, because drinks menus arrived late. Most ordered “all you can eat” perch dinner. Meals came at least 1/2 hour later, except for one perch dinner. We finished eating and one person had not received a meal. Meal finally came after several comments from server and manager that it would be “one more minute”. We were told there was a “break down” in the kitchen. Then we were told there were only so many fryers in the kitchen. At 1 1/2 hour, it w…

We just played the North 18. The course was very nice from the tee box to the green ⛳️ , with nice informational signs for the hole. However, I did. Not rate a 5 because I expected a little more for $ 70. The carts were slow, didn't have any covers, or any technology providing hole information, like they do at Solitude Links for the same price.

We have been to the Thanksgiving Day buffet in the past and it was good but this year they really upped their game!! The food was great and so many choices!! Our server, Kaitlyn, was awesome! And they used their banquet venue, which is beautiful!! Thanks for bringing in a tv to watch the Lions!! Perfect!!

Edit: I've been out here a few times within the last month and I can honestly say the course and the facility is by far the best shape I have ever seen it. You can tell they have put a lot of time effort and money into the course and the facilities. The conditions out on the course are absolutely phenomenal. The fairways are nice and lush. And the greens are pure!

Recently discovered their Happy Hour, and would recommend anyone with time to kill to go and check it out, and tip well (the drinks are cheap, doesn’t mean y’all have to be). We live locally, so I cannot comment on any of the rooms or the hotel side of things, but Tyler (Bartender at San Marino) and Savanah (Apologies on spelling) provided excellent conversation, are knowledgeable about what they do (for the people that care about that sort of thing), and just genuinely seem like good people. We will be returning in the future, and are eagerly awaiting the return of the chef’s (A+ Hummus. The…

Stayed at the hotel for a night while visiting the great lakes. This place was awesome & within driving distance of several restaurants, shops, & a beach. Lexington is a super cute small town right on the water, so the area was amazing. The hotel staff were welcoming & kind and the service was great! The area felt very safe, and I definitely recommend this place to any tourists or travelers looking for somewhere to stay!
