In summary

Las Barrancas Golf Course is praised for its friendly staff, challenging layout, and scenic views, with recent additions like the Trackman driving range and planned renovations generating excitement. However, some visitors express concerns about maintenance issues, including overgrown greens and fairways, and inconsistent course conditions, which detract from the overall experience. There are also mixed opinions on customer service and the handling of pace of play.

Was out in the area on business and decided to stop by Las Barrancas Golf Course and check it out. The current proshop is in a double-wide trailer due to the fact that they are in the process of constructing a brand new proshop. Restaurant and event hall. They have implemented a trackman range and now resides where the original 10th tee was. The overall best part of this course was the staff, all super friendly and knowledgeable about there course. They even mentioned about on on course incident with bees on hole 13 to avoid. Everyone seemed very excited and proud of the future of their course…

I realize that that this golf course is going through changes and building a new clubhouse but what about course maintenance! The fairways and greens were in rough shape as were landscaping. There were knee high thistles in the bunkers, dried tumble weeds and weeds in broken steps up to tee boxes. I just feel that if I'm paying full price, the course even if it's under repair should be clean, trimmed and maintained! This was one of our favorite courses when we visited Yuma and now I would not recommend it!! Very disappointing 😞

Was just banned from the course because we played for 5 hours, which was 1 hour over the “average” players time and had some snowbirds call the staff on us and said we were driving on the greens and were playing too slow even tho we payed for the 2 tee times that the staff said we had to. Played at the course all year long and the one time some snowbird throws a fit they ban us from the course absolutely ridiculous treatment to hometown residents, very disappointed in the way it was handled. Course definitely needs some work fairways and greens are soaked in water no drainage at all. Wouldn’t…

The best course in Yuma. We all know the difficulty in maintaining a course in the desert southwest. Las Barrancas has done the best job of all the courses in the area of mastering this difficulty. Hats off to their grounds crew for providing a beautiful and well-maintained course. Update March 2024: The course looks better than big things are on the way. A new and modern driving range is on track to be opened in October and the new clubhouse, pro shop and restaurant should be done next year. Without any doubt Las Barrancas is the best place in SW Arizona to golf

We love the new Trackman driving range! The new range is state-of-the-art and has tons of fun features. The snack shack attached has a great variety of food and drink, making it a fun place even for non-golfers. Troy is super helpful and friendly and makes sure everyone is having a great time. My new favorite spot!

The greens and fairway are always too soaked. However they are always rude whether you’re early or 1 minute late you get yelled at. Plus to add they don’t accept beginners, especially if you play past the “average time”. You will constantly be asked to let someone past you or leave. Not a relaxing place nor a place for beginners

Shout out to Sheryl and her staff at Las Barrancas. I had a great time and enjoyed hole 7 and 14. This is a community friendly course. The back nine was challenging. I look forward to all the future renovations. It was worth the long drive. #pgahopesouthwest

Breathtaking views of the Foothills in Yuma, Az from every location of this gorgeous golf course. A challenging course that is fun to play. We were very impressed with the well-manicured greens. To top it off, the price is hard to believe...$35 for 18 holes with a cart! The views alone are worth the 35 bucks! Go! You won't regret it.

Play there a couple weeks ago they charged us $55 apiece. The green art cut the fairways aren’t good. It’s just a trailer in the desert for anything else and the owner has the personality of wet weather. There’s a couple other golf courses to go to for money like that, I would go to those.

We had a group of 12. We were able to all be right next to each other. Troy did a great job with the food and beverages.

Made it through 3 holes yesterday before the unfortunate rain/thunderstorm hit. Spoke to the pro shop and they wouldn’t give me a rain check or even a refund. I wouldn’t waste my money on this course!!!! Yes, this course has potential but the current conditions are absolutely terrible!!
