In summary

Mesa del Sol Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, scenic views, and friendly staff. The course layout is appreciated for its challenge, with narrow fairways and undulating greens, and the new GPS-equipped carts are a noted amenity. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play and occasional negative interactions with staff or other players.

Great course with all clubs in play. Tight in areas but course is in great shape with great views. Liked the water placements on the holes I would encourage members and guest to fix ball marks on greens alot of indentations but considering the ages of guest probaly tough to reach. Staff very friendly. Groundskeeper and marshall very helpful with ? My 1st time playing. Houses on courses. so bring your club management. Nice clubhouse with food options..Will be back. Thanks again. Must play if in yuma

D-I-L and I played a round. Staff was friendly and the course was in good shape for a desert golf course. Fairways are mowed pretty tight and there are some this patches on a few of the greens, but still a pleasant experience. Nice views, but you gotta keep control of shots as it’s in a community and houses line the fairways.

Great course. Greens are undulating, fast, and nicely kept. Carts are GPS speed governed around the clubhouse and parking lot so don't be surprised when they aren't very responsive in those areas. Houses line the course but for the most part fairways are pretty accommodating. We Enjoyed playing here.

Course is beautiful and staff was great. But they knowing let member golfer on the course that intentionally tried hitting my disabled veteran 80 year uncle and myself which I’m also 100% disabled. Filled a complaint and they were very familiar with the ladies and husband as they act like this all the time and have had multiple complaints about them. It’s sad you will let people act like that and not throw them off the course. Knowing this is acceptable I have no plans to play again and will cancel any tournaments signed up for there.

I was removed from the chipping and putting greens for having my kids with me. They are all under 6 however they were putting and chipping with me and respecting the game and course. I’ve been brining my family to this location for well over 3 years now and today is the first time ever it’s been an issue. I left my name and number with the front desk and problematic staff. I fully expect to NOT receive a call back or otherwise. The course is beautiful and usually well kept. However the staff has been steadily declining in their mannerisms and mutual respect since I first started here. Desert…

We put 2 sets of golf clubs in one bag and got kicked off the course for not having separate bags. I don’t play golf very much due to my job, it’s a thing me and my buddies like to do to relax every few months and catch up. We were at hole 10 and a group of elderly people approached and was very inpatient. Wasn’t even there for a full 60 seconds, and everyone starts cursing and yelling at me and my buddy for taking too long. Keep in mind they just drove up there. Wasn’t even a full minute. I’ve had cancer for the past 2 years and this was the first time I could play golf without complications.…

It took a year but the new grass is finally established. My buddy and I played on September 2nd and were amazed at the quality of the fairways/greens. The front nine is almost perfect and the back 9 is coming in very well too. We spent the whole round commenting on how great the course looked and have already booked our next weekend tee time. Tony was excellent as always too. *Update* Now they have the best carts in town too! GPS driven carts with full touch screen in each cart to tell your exact yardages and location on each hole.

Heard good conversations about the course. Was disappointed when I played today. From the photos you can see bare spots, everywhere.... Including greens. Not one but everyone. Integrity would be post on the web site about the conditions. Go to the city course, much better shape.

The course was nice, in good shape and not too expensive. But expect 5- 5.5 hour rounds of golf, I don't know if it's a Yuma thing, but an 18 hole round of golf should be 4-4:30 mins max. It even says on their score card 4 hours is the pace of play. The carts even warn you when you are behind pace of play, but no one to enforce it.

The front nine holes just opened up after a renovation. The back nine I guess is opening in a few weeks. First time playing there. We had a lot of fun! All the staff is super friendly. Starting in the pro shop, the snack kitchen, the starter… We will definitely come back when visiting the area. The course is very playable and the greens are a bit challenging. Great value! We played the front nine twice.

Delightful course, especially perfect for a beginner. Narrow fairways that are sometimes unforgiving, but such a pleasant, quiet, and peaceful play! Flat course, great for walking. You may even see a Roadrunner!
