Le Sueur Country Club is highly praised for its well-maintained course conditions, featuring smooth, fast greens and lush fairways, set amidst the scenic rolling hills of the Minnesota River Valley. The course layout is noted for its challenging elevation changes and strategic design, offering a rewarding experience for golfers of various skill levels. Le Sueur Country Club is a well maintained challenging parkland course with rolling hills and elevation changes. The greens were in great shape and rolled smooth and true. The tee boxes are level, the fairways are bent grass, and the bunkers were in great condition with fine sand. The par 3’s are very good with great mix of short and long yardages. The pace of play was excellent. I would recommend playing the course to all golfers.

Le Sueur Country Club offers a fun, challenging round with plenty of character. The elevation changes throughout the course add visual appeal and strategic complexity. Greens are fast and smooth, while the fairways play soft, giving nice lies but minimal rollout. Several narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy off the tee, and there’s a good amount of blind shots, especially tough for first-time players. A creek cuts through a few holes, adding risk-reward decisions. A favorite is hole 15, with a beautiful elevated tee shot down to the green — but don’t go long, or you’ll find OB lurking…

Played a round at Le Sueur Country Club and had a great experience. The pace of play was solid, never felt rushed or held up, and the staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The course itself is in excellent condition, well maintained fairways and greens, and a layout that’s both fun and challenging for any skill level. Only heads-up I’d give is that the bugs were pretty brutal during our round (not the club’s fault, obviously), so definitely bring some bug spray if you’re heading out. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend playing here. Great track, good vibes, and a very enjoyable round

A very fun play! Tight fairways and long rough force precision and a lot of shots from the bag, fairways and greens in incredible shape with greens rolling very true. An awesome track that’s hilly and never gets boring. Club house and pro shop staff incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the course!

Great fun course. Greens are firm and prices are fair. Bunkers even were fair to get out of. Played with three very fun and good golfers, we all had a lot of fun. Can't wait to play this place again.

One of the most fun courses I’ve played in Minnesota with dramatic elevation changes, country club conditions, and nothing but nature with no houses. Worth the drive from the Twin Cities. Treat yourself to a round here. Discovered because they are now part of the Public Country Club multi course membership program and will be back regularly!

As a 35-year-old golfer from the Twin Cities, I recently had the pleasure of playing Le Sueur Country Club, and let me tell you, this course is a hidden gem in the Minnesota River Valley! From the moment I stepped onto the first tee, I was struck by how meticulously maintained this course is. The fairways are lush, soft snd bouncy. the rough is punishing but fair, and the greens? Absolute prestige condition that roll smooth, true, and rolling at a perfect medium to fast pace that rewards smart putting. At just over 6,100 yards from the tips, it’s not the longest course, but don’t let that foo…

I'd never played this 100 year-old course before and look forward to coming back!! Remarkable "target golf" off the tees, not your "bombers" layout. Greens were exceptional and layout was unique and very fun.

Le Sueur offers a unique combination of tee shots, great conditions, and beautiful views. Not much for water hazards in the river wevalley, but the winding ravines create some difficult gap shots! My favorite holes are 14-15-16. Par 4-3-5 combo that gives some scoring chances. Finishing up with some tight, short, high risk-high reward par 4s with 17 & 18. Will definitely continue coming here!

LeSueur Country Club in Minnesota offers an unforgettable golf experience, beautifully nestled within the rolling hills of the Minnesota River Valley. The course’s natural elevation changes create a dynamic layout, challenging golfers with uphill and downhill shots while rewarding them with sweeping views and a sense of seclusion on every hole. What truly sets LeSueur apart, however, is its outstanding course conditions — lush, perfectly maintained fairways provide ideal lies, the greens roll true and fast, and even after heavy rain, the course remains remarkably firm and playable thanks to ex…
