In summary

Minneopa Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and welcoming clubhouse, offering a scenic and challenging experience with its hilly and tree-lined layout. The course is described as a shorter, nine-hole setup that provides a fun and quick round, with some standout holes that add to the challenge. However, some visitors have noted issues with crowded fairways, occasional slow play, and the presence of bugs, which can detract from the overall experience.

Beautiful course! Greens rolled really well, tee box’s were in great shape, and club house looked remodeled and really nice! Very kind gentleman helped me get my round going. Fairways were in great shape as well but very bumpy. It did make it fun not having very many flat lies. Great experience.

The owners of terrace view and minniopa have no clue what they're doing. Just got my ball hosed down with poison on 8 at minniopa.

Definitely a challenging course. # 7 is the signature hole with a shot over the ravine to a terraced green. Always in good shape. Well managed and staff is always helpful.

Clubhouse is very lovely and the gentleman that greeted us was great! Unfortunately the course is a bit of a mess due to the flooding, but they’re trying. FYI- hole 3 veers to the left, not the right like we thought… OOPS! And hole 9 women’s tee can easily be missed. The course was really simple, except hole 7… but the BUGS!!! Ugh!! Please spray! We left with at least 15-20 bites each!

Can't rate the golf because we found ourselves there after a long walk. I needed to walk back and get the car and pick my wife up. The staff let her sit in a nice comfortable spot in the shade while she waited. She reported that the ambiance was great. Families and individuals golfing and having a great time. Thanks, Minneopa staff!

We really enjoy this course. Especially love coming out after 4PM for the special rate. It's not real long, but the short holes are challenging. Hills and trees. No water. Not much sand. Well kept fairways and greens for a public course in this area.

AMAZING, people can hate but that's what haters do , the general manager Gary is awesome and knows his stuff ! Has helped me a lot in my game just by talking to him , people are friendly and beautiful club house. People may not like the shorter course but I do , I HATE when I'm hitting a ball over and over again to move 550 yards down a flat plowed corn field with a hole and flag at the end , here there is hills and trees and actually a challenge without getting tired trying to make it to the end of a flat a marathon , give the course a chance . I can't stop playing it and hate the other cours…

Nice club house, well maintained. However, poor golf hole layout. Short holes, crowded fairways, and cart paths leaves something to be desired. Would recommend terrace view golf course in Mankato for a better place for the money.

Course was in good shape and the remodel that happened a few years ago was amazing. The last behind the bar and running the pro shop at tat time was very friendly and personable. I was impressed with every aspect.

Crowded. Multiple occasions of people playing thru without asking/ while we wait for,the peopke in front of us. Course is on the dive side. Clubhouse is very nice. That's where it ends. No views. Basically living on its location just outside of Kato. To be fair I've been on worse courses and although this course is in the bottom 20% I always have a good time with the love of my life. DO NOT GO AT BUG TIME!!

Disagree entirely with the other reviewer who obviously goes to places expecting to be treated as if his feces is without odor. Minneopa is a small business, short course quite old and it is what it is. Takes about an hour to go around if you aren't wasting time and nobody is in front of you. Several holes are quite challenging including a 223yd par three, and several slightly bent par fours that will force you to either hit a draw or pull a shorter club from the tee. Mostly it is just a nice walk among the venerable Oaks and Maples and Ash of a southern Minnesota river valley. Not a full cour…
