In summary

Lederach Golf Club is praised for its challenging and well-maintained course, featuring a unique and strategic layout that appeals to those who enjoy a difficult game. The staff is generally regarded as friendly and professional, and the course offers a good value for the price. However, some visitors have experienced issues with slow pace of play and occasional service shortcomings, such as double-booking tee times and lack of amenities like a beverage cart on hot days.

Course is quite challenging by its topography however the fairways were a little beat up and it didn't help that the greens were covered in sand due to aeration. Seven out of ten.

Truly a bizzare design. Most greens are very, very large. Some as wide as 150 ft. Others that deep. Some blind shots and 90 degree doglegs. Greens in good condition but slow. Fairways wide and receptive. Staff is friendly and professional. Don’t plan to go back.

If you like difficult and fun golf, and you appreciate golf course architecture (Kelly Blake Moran), then you must play here. Even though this course is a little less on “LSD” than Morgan Hill, crazy features are traded for optical illusions, and intimidation off the tee is traded for confusion as to how best to attack with a driver. You’ll soon find the driver is probably not the best choice off the tee and strategy takes hold. How did he know exactly where to put that bunker? Greens feature varieties of sizes, shapes, and elevation changes. The greens roll a little slow, but true, making the…

Great course. Sunday morning sprint rate was $75. Carts ran well, course is kept in pristine condition. Greens are immaculate. Just a beautiful course with plenty of water, hills and bunkers to make it very challenging.

Lederach is one of the very best public golf courses in the area with an awesome club house staff and ground crew. Some courses out there forget that a good club house staff and ground crew is a big part of what makes a great course.

Solid (generally grass) driving range, although I’d recommend calling ahead if that’s specifically what you’re looking for since they’ve had turf for the last few weeks. Course is also quite nice as well but I haven’t played here in a year or two

Paid extra to play the early round on a Sunday at 7:40am. The round ended up being 5 hrs and 20 mins. Absolutely ridiculous. We attempted to call the clubhouse to get a ranger out and move the group in front of us 20 times until we reached them. 20 phone calls!! The ranger didn’t do a thing… they don’t care about pace of play at this course but they will charge you a premium amount. It’s not worth the money unfortunately. Extremely frustrating experience and the staff doesn’t even care. Dont waste your money here

Another overpriced, underwhelming PA course. Dude working the front counter on 7/26/25 clearly hates his life, I mean how miserable are you? No beverage cart (on a 90 degree saturday), no water available at the bathrooms on the course. Double boking tee times on 1 and 10 after a large morning group event. Took me 2 hours to play 4 holes, at one point there was 4 groups, (7 carts) on one par 4!!!! Its a shame that the group running the course cant do better because the greens are worthy of a better review.

I’ll first start off by saying the course is fun to play and in great shape. Now the bad. There was no cart person on a Sunday, 95 degree day. I bought a six pack of miller lite ($25) and I asked for extra ice and the girl wanted to charge me extra for extra scoops. I asked how much for an extra bag of ice and it was $5. For a course charging $90+ on a weekend I would expect more.

Course was in great shape, many undulating fairways. Not many flat lies that’s for sure. Sometimes the traps are in punishing spots and poor tee shots are punished with traps and overgrowth. Large greens with many of them having level changes.

Great value course with an awesome staff.

Beautiful, well maintained course which can play quite difficult. The par 3s are long and a couple of the par 4s are nearly par 5 length, watch out!
