In summary

Links at the Lake Golf and Country Club is often praised for its scenic setting and well-maintained course, featuring a mix of links and parkland styles that provide an enjoyable challenge for golfers of varying skill levels. The staff generally receive positive remarks for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the course's proximity to Gimli is appreciated. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of certain greens and fairways, as well as the pricing structure, particularly for junior golfers. Additionally, service issues and occasional flooding have been noted by some patrons.

Absolute gem of a slightly easier course in Manitoba. The greens were incredible and the rough and first cut exceptionally thick. Links style front with a parkland style back nine. Doesn’t punish wayward drives as much as many country courses out this way but still had some challenging doglegs on the back nine.

$253 for 2 adults and a 10 year old. 1 tee box out of commission with the rest looking like shit. Glad we played well because that’s the only good take away from this rip off. Let’s grow golf… under 15 years old charging $85 a round. Real nice. Teulon is $20 for juniors.

Links at the Lake Golf and Country Club: Links at the Lake Golf and Country Club is a hidden gem that every golf lover should experience! Nestled right by the beach, this course offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and challenging play. The stunning lake views, lush fairways, and well-maintained greens make it feel like you’re playing at a top-tier resort—without the resort prices! The layout keeps you on your toes, with enough variety to challenge even seasoned golfers, all while giving you those “I can’t believe I get to golf here” moments. Now, let’s talk about the clubhouse. Sure, it…

Lots of Overland Flooding on this Course...... My husband and I recently drove out here from Winnipeg for a round of golf and were quite disappointed with the condition of the course. There is lots of water on the fairways that they are not pumping off which makes for a smaller target of dry land to hit too; you can be in the middle of the fairway and still have to wade in to get your ball. There is also a hole with a temporary green which was more dirt than anything, and there were some other holes where the tee boxes were moved up. When golfing under these conditions I would expect a discoun…

The course is great in terms of conditions nothing to complain about with the course. As for the service we got from an older man behind the front desk it was very bad. He made me and my friends feel like we were idiots and that we didn’t belong there and even scoffed and rolled his eyes at us when all we were trying to do was give him our business. It’s actually shocking that such a beautiful course has such ugly service.

Gimli is blessed with lots of courses nearby and this is certainly one of the best. Good variety of holes and the alternating 9s are quite different from each other. Always enjoy a round here. Excellent pro shop and staff as well.

This is a fun course to play. Played a few times this summer already, and it has been in excellent condition each time. I find the course design very interesting. Each hole has a unique challenge built into it. I have played weekend and weekday late afternoon/early evenings, and it is never crowded or too busy. Well worth the visit.

Course was in good shape. Not particularly challenging but it was still a fun course to play.

( i shared this with the management n case you wondered) Nice course lots of over land flooding and still getting charged $42.00 green fee ? The water in the ball washers were so bad I basically gagged to a point of throwing up by the smell. The pins on the green were in a place on a slope if you putt and it comes up just short of the hole it would roll back down 2 to 3 feet on hole 9 & 14. The worst part is if you land on the edge of the green it is hard to putt as the guy doing the greens has butchered every green really bad and I mean everyone. we watched him doing the greens and just shook…

Bad greens. Fairways are butchered. they clearly don't put effort into selective parts of the course. everything is on the cheap. there is no way this is a top course or close to it.

One of my favoutire places to play, with a spacious front 9 and a bit tighter back 9 you get the links feel with the classic thick trees on the back 11 holes
