What People Say

In summary

Victoria Beach Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained 9-hole course, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience with narrow fairways and small greens set in a peaceful, picturesque environment. The staff is generally described as friendly and welcoming, contributing to a relaxed atmosphere ideal for both beginners and seasoned players. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional disruptive behavior from other patrons.

Excellent course ( and over 100 years old)! Well maintained. Very reasonably priced. It is a fair walk from the parking lot so be sure you have a shoulder strap bag or wheels. Also, they do not rent clubs. Dense trees so expect to lose balls if you have any sort of hook or slice. Well groomed greens.

Great local course. It's a bit out of the way but worth the effort to get out there. Beautiful calm course with lots of room to play. I would recommend parking (only $3) and walking the way to the course. It's only about a 10 minute walk. The community does not allow cars in the park and it makes for a very cool atmosphere with a big bike culture. While you are there check out the beaches.

Great 9 hole course, greens are smaller, but the course is in great shape and to walk on and play is so nice.

Great slow pace course. Good chill staff, great time for amateurs or groups who need to take extra time. Loose rules, but course is still fairly well maintained.

Good price and nice course. Patrons are a bit discouraging. Went with my wife and daughter. We are all new golfers. We asked the group behind us to go ahead of us. They declined but harassed us by making rude comments and cutting thru the paths and walking towards us at the next tee box. Employees didn't seem to care.

I grew up golfing Victoria Beach, this is where I learned to golf! A 9 hole course always in excellent condition. It is a shorter course but the narrow fairways and thick bush make it challenging if you are not hitting the ball straight. There are no carts, no tee times and no pressure. Great place to learn to golf and enjoy a day at the cabin. This is not a course for speed, this is a course for relaxation with extremely reasonable prices and memberships.

The 9Some, yes, I said 9some in front of us ruined a nice day. 9 people screwing around on 4 carts. It took a whole hour for the final 2 holes. The horrible little kid was doing snow angels on the greens. Then afterwards seeing the cases apon cases of empty beer cans being unloaded into their bicycle carts afterwards explained everything. You may wish to avoid this place.

Don’t let the hole yardages fool you. Lots of short holes, but tight with forests right off the fairways with tiny greens that presents a unique challenge. Love this course.

A 9-hole course, golf carts, no restaurant, but a vending machine. Enjoyable place for sure.
