In summary

LinRick Golf Course is generally appreciated for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and good value, particularly for its pricing. The staff is often described as friendly and professional, and recent improvements to the bunkers have been well-received. However, some visitors have reported issues with inconsistent greens, outdated facilities, and slow pace of play, while others have experienced less than satisfactory customer service.

This course is a typical southern municipal course, but in better shape than most I have played. The clubhouse is nothing fancy, but there looked to be plenty of parking. The full-distance driving range and a practice green were right next to the clubhouse. Tee boxes were a mixed bag - some were in great shape, others less so, but nothing was unplayable. The fairways were very hard with a thin layer of grass (it is easy April), so tee shots could really roll - I hit two of the longest drives I have ever hit here. The rough was not long and on many holes, the grass ended where the fairway did.…

I really liked Linrick! It's the perfect golf course for beginners or those looking for a course that's fun but not overly challenging. It's really good for the price as well. The only downside is that my friend (he's the one who went inside and paid) told me that the attendant was very rude, which seems to be a common theme amongst these reviews.

Course was in fine condition, don’t expect much in early February, but we booked for 18 holes online at 1:20. The website said they won’t let anyone tee off for 18 after 1:09, so I tried calling the pro shop to see if that was strictly enforced, and if so why could I book for 18. Nobody answered. When I got there, I inquired again about the policy and if we’d get to play 18, was told by the attendant if we played quickly maybe. Finished 9 by 3:30 and at the turn tried again to play more holes, including offering to pay more and stop at 14/15 to have the carts back well before their 5:40 deadli…

It's okay. The course wasn't in great condition and the greens were inconsistent (some were fast and others really slow). Course staff wasn't particularly nice whereas everywhere else I've played everyone is really friendly. Price was reasonable but this may be an example of getting what you pay for

Had a great outing here last week and I have the say the greens were in outstanding shape! The course was beautiful as the leaves were beginning to change and my round was very enjoyable. My one critique of the course is the main facilities are somewhat dated and are in need of renovation. This does not ultimately detract from the quality of your round of golf but could certainly increase the attractiveness of the venue in the future. All around great golf spot, will definitely go back soon!

Good shape, not crowded on weekdays, though busy. Pace kept up, just under 4 hrs. Greens are a little beat up.

Big compliments to Linrick golf staff for the bunker improvements over the winter. Y'all have done a great job rebuilding the most important bunkers. I think removing the few you have will help with the long-term maintenance load. I played on a wet winter day, (see pictured, haha) but as always, I very impressed with the greens, which were alive, smooth, and consistent. I'm very, very excited for this year's season! Linrick is the best deal in the Columbia area and has some wild, challenging holes.

Loved the course played with a wonderful group. Course a little dry in spots due to local droughts. Interesting layout and friendly staff.

This is a really good course. The challenge of the back nine will keep you coming back.

Nothing fancy as far as clubhouses or shop go. But the course was well maintained. Except the bunkers do not have actual sand. It's been there so long it's just hard. Not real sand traps. Could use some sand in bunkers but everything else looks good.

The course is in good shape, and the layout was challenging. For the price, it's an outstanding value. The staff was courteous, professional and very helpful. I'll definitely go back in the future!

If I could rate it a zero I would. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely rude and had an attitude for no reason at all. When I told him we were going to ride carts he kept our driver licenses and after the round when we returned the carts he refused to give them back until he inspected our carts thoroughly. The course itself is worse than I could imagine. Nothing about this course is maintained properly and it is the worst course I’ve ever played at after almost 30 years of playing golf. I will never be back and would never recommend this course to anybody.
