In summary

Lionel's Golf Center is appreciated for its beginner-friendly layout, reasonable pricing, and friendly staff, making it a welcoming option for novice golfers. The course is noted for its pleasant setting, surrounded by trees, and is generally described as walkable and laid-back. However, frequent criticisms highlight maintenance issues, such as overgrown fairways and poorly managed driving range conditions, which some feel detract from the overall experience.

This is a great beginner course. We've been playing here for two seasons now. Really nice layout. I like how the course is surrounded by trees (other courses it feels like the holes are on top of each other). Fair value. Almost always able to get a walk on. Very walkable course (hardly any hills). The only downsides: sometimes the fairways are a little tall (I've hit fairway shots before where I've lost my ball...and shouldn't have) and there are only 2 power carts for the entire course.

A good course for beginners (like myself), but is a bit rough around the edges, so to speak. I do find it hard to give it less than 3/5 for the price and since I still had a great time. But those with higher expectations than myself (a beginner) may want a nicer track. Pros: nice staff, quiet, laid back, cheap, and shorter holes if youre into that (I am) Cons: tee boxes, fairways, greens, driving range, pretty much everything could use work. But no one thing was completely a miss.

What an absolute dump of a golf course. Went there at 1 pm on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon and there were no balls available at the range. If you cant do as little as run your picker through the field you shouldn't even be open for business! And dont even get me started on course conditions. 100% recommend AVOIDING this course. I will definitely NOT ever return to that dump

A great part of our community. Interesting features to each hole. A nice walk through the woods. A place you grow to love. Friendly staff. If you find a long patch of fairway move your ball to a shorter patch nearby. It's all the same. Great place to learn to play.

I wish I could give it a good review, because the staff are friendly, but this place is not worth it. Fairways and greens aren’t good, and at the same price as Alderdale, these courses are at the opposite end of the spectrum. The worst part, the driving range. The platforms are uneven, and you’re basically standing on some sort of tar platform with a small turf insert, which pops loose every time you hit the ball. They at least used to let you hit your driver off the grass but not anymore. There are also no distances marked out on the range, so you have no idea how far you’re hitting. By far t…

Okay Course but poorly maintained , fairways in alot of areas look like high grassed rough. Has potential to be a nice 9 hole course, but landscaping wise , it's the worst course I ever played.

Shes a rough one. I went with a friend. Lucky for us we had two horseflys complete our foursome. The amount of clover on the fairways (they aren't fair) makes it hard to find your ball. If you have nice clubs you wont even want to play your ball. This place is a test .

This isn’t a bad course to get started but after a while, you realize that basically, this course is a joke. Course maintenance is done during the middle of the day. This includes mowing the fairways and working on the greens as customers are playing. One time in particular, the flag was moved to THE FAIRWAY so essentially there was no hole. This course is cheap but why pay anything when you have to deal with stopping your play to watch course maintenance that should be done in the early hours of the morning when the course isn’t open? In addition to that, the condition of the course is the wo…

Big lawnmower followed us around the entire time. Cutting while we were taking our shots. I've always liked playing on this course. Staff is friendly, but this time I did not enjoy it.
