In summary

Little Bennett Golf Course is highly praised for its excellent course conditions, challenging layout, and scenic setting, with many golfers appreciating the well-maintained greens and friendly staff. The course's hilly terrain and elevation changes add to its difficulty, making it a rewarding experience for more seasoned players. However, some visitors have noted issues with outdated carts, the presence of bugs, and occasional slow pace of play, which can detract from the overall experience.

Very good course in great condition - especially the greens. Beautiful scenery and interesting holes with a lot of elevation change. Pretty good pace of play. Challenging to spot your ball in the thick rough. Only ding was the carts need upgrading - the brakes were shot which was super dicey given the inclines. Also bring bug spray. $92 for a Sunday morning.

Fantastic late September conditions - fairways and greens were in impeccable shape. Staff was friendly and afternoon rate of $30-$40 is more than worth it for this course. Course layout is rather challenging with forced carries and tight fairways on several par fours. Majority of holes were routed well, but the 90ish yard par threes on #3 and #15 did not feel like genuine par threes. Carts desperately need automatic braking system due to the steep hills throughout the course. Overall a great public course at a great value for the area.

Might be the purest muni course (sort of) in existence as far as conditions. Super fun design but challenging. Greens are absurdly quick and sloped. Not really an enjoyable course for the weekend golfer. Lots of forced carries, blind shots, extremely thick, rough, split tiered greens and crowned fairways. The 127 slope is super misleading and it plays more like a 140 slope from the white tees. 5/5 for immaculate conditions and super friendly pro shop/range attendants.

An incredible course especially for a public course. Greens were tour-fast. Virtually impossible to 2-putt some of the longer putts or even shorter downhills. Course is maintained like a country club. The layout is extremely challenging, all up and down with many elevated fairways. The distances are misleading because a 340 yard par 4 can play like 380 uphill. The par 3s drop radically across ravines off the tee onto small greens. Game needs to be 100% on this course! And your cart driving skills also need to be dialed on the treacherous hilly cart paths!

Course in pristine condition. Greens fastest I’ve seen. Very hilly course so a cart is a must. First cut not too bad. Rough can swallow your ball easily. Hit it straight and you’re good. ⛳️😁

I want to start by saying that I have never had a bad experience at the Little Bennett Golf Course’s practice range (beautiful range), UNTIL yesterday, when I dealt with an extremely rude staff member named Kyle (staff members informed me that this particular staff member’s name was Kyle). So, I am a beginner golfer trying to improve (and we all know how hard that is), so I decided to join the Player’s Club to improve. I brought my brother to the Little Bennett practice range with me because he’s much better than me and so that he can teach/coach me to get better. So, we were hitting the rang…

The course is seriously nice shape. I would say the greenest ive ever seen. The greens were just recently punched but are recovering nicely with the recent rain. This course is a fun challenging track and is usally in good shape.

This is clearly the best and most scenic course in Montgomery County! I love that it's very hilly too. The facility is top notch and the employees are very friendly.

Bug infested course. Impossible to golf with swarms of bugs. They get in your nose, ears and eyes. Golf Marshall here harass golfers. Unfriendly and impolite. Ordering golfers not asking. Cart is very dirty and handle is so sticky you can hardly turn. Never coming back. No thanks.
