In summary

Marquette Golf & Country Club's Greywalls course is widely praised for its stunning natural setting, unique layout, and challenging design, offering breathtaking views and a memorable golfing experience. The course is noted for its immaculate condition and friendly, accommodating staff, making it a must-visit destination despite its remote location. However, some visitors find the course overly difficult due to its undulating fairways and highly sloped greens, and there are occasional mentions of underwhelming clubhouse facilities and slow pace of play.

Greywalls course is a difficult setup with a unique experience with highly slope greens and undulating fairways. The course is amazing but some greens are unreasonably small with extremely sloped greens like hole 1, 2, 8 and 9. Hole 7 and 11 are brilliant golf course design that are difficult. Overall, it was fun and enjoyable but so fat away.

Greywalls at Marquette Golf Club is unlike any course I’ve played. Huge rock walls, big elevation changes, and Lake Superior views make it unforgettable. It’s tough but fair, and every hole feels different. Easily one of the best golf experiences in Michigan.

Incredible experience. Worth the 8 hour drive. Very underwhelming clubhouse/warmup area, but the golf course is plush and incredibly unique. Be ready to hit accurate tee and wedge shots. This course is a nice clubhouse/warmup area away from being a top course in the country. 10/10 would recommend.

This place was beautiful but… the course is overly hard for your average golfer. You can blast a drive down the middle and lose it due to the slope of the fairway. There isn’t a flat putt in the place. Some of the greens have some insane slope on them. There is drinking water on the course but they were empty. Decent practice facilities. The uneven tee boxes are dumb, us normies don’t practice hitting tee shots above or below your feet or with an uphill or downhill lie. Dumb. Bunkers have fluffy sand but tons of pebbles.

I had the true pleasure of playing Greywalls. I had the added pleasure of playing it during the fall season. The course is simply visually spectacular. That makes it incredibly memorable. I've had the privilege of playing quite a few of the top ranked public courses in the country and a handful of top ranked private courses. One thing I have discovered is that as good as a course may be strategically, the ones that stick with you the most are the ones that leave pictures in your mind. And Greywalls will leave tons of them. But it's not just pretty pictures. Greywalls is truly an excellent gol…

Two great golf courses in Heritage and Greywalls. Beautiful any time of the year, but especially in the fall when the leaves are turning. Greywalls is one of the top courses in the state and has some really challenging holes. Both courses are a lot of fun to play.

I can’t say enough about this course (Graywalls). It’s such a fun course to play. Very challenging and many different tees to choose from depending on your handicap. Greens are extremely fast and will challenge the best golfers out there. Can’t wait to play it again.

Absolutely a destination golf course. You will be hard-pressed to find anything like it. Firm & fast, greens are always exceptional. Don’t come expecting to shoot a good score however, just enjoy the golf course. It will take a few runs to truly figure out how to play it.
