McCloud Golf Club

I will give 5 stars, not because it is a 5 star golf course, like Running Y in Klamath Falls, but because for what you get for just 15$. Its a fun playing course full of surprises (8th tee shot from blue) and tiny greens. Overall in pretty good conditions and way better than my terrible experience playing the 9 hole scottish golf course at lake Shastina. And on top the view on Mt Shasta from this angle is very beautiful. I play Mc Cloud once more tomorrow. Please keep in mind that you need some cash playing Monday and Tuesday and put it in the box.

Nice golf course. It was extremely bumpy on the golf cart. Price was good. They have a cafe that closes at 2. Nice Bathrooms indoors. There was one outdoors.

I really enjoyed playing here. It's a pretty course in a great location. It has some interesting features and seems like a nice place to enjoy some low-key golf. Friendly, helpful staff. Can't beat it for the price.

Just an absolutely beautiful and wonderful course. It's only 9 holes, but you can't beat the view. This course is tucked away in the middle of NOWHERE, and is just amazing.

A great golf experience! I have enjoyed playing golf there many times and now , have played disc golf there too! The course plays beautifully and views are awesome!

This review is more about the restaurant than the golf course. If you are passing through, this will be a pleasant surprise. If you live in McCloud, you already know. Our lunch here was beyond expectations of good. Our server was right on spot and the food was excellent. The menu is quite varied and they carry great daily specials. We enjoyed the outdoor patio seating and they had spacious indoor seating available too. Our server informed us the restaurant closes for the season in late October and will reopen April 1.

Ton of fun to play. Highly recommended. Fairways are wide for the most part, greens are small. Have a ball!

The cafe is full of local guests more than the golf players and you may not feel comfortable if you are not local. Asked if I can dine at the tables near the window but was told I can't as they are kept as "a separate section" although they were empty and I was with golf players... Some groups did have the tables there later on so I don't know what they meant by it.
