Meadowview Golf Course

Hit a round for first time at Meadowview. The course setup and layout is perfect for an average golfer. Greens were fast but in good shape. There was a little water standing in the rough areas. Signage at the tee boxes could mention distances or maybe a yardage book. Staff was friendly, they had large selection of new clubs, i purchased a new wedge for the bag. Did not see any food being prepared so can't review.

Beginning of the season and many courses are in disarray. That is not the case here at Meadow view. Grass is green sticks are picked up. Leaves are gone. Greens and fairways are beautiful. Staff was friendly and accommodating, and most importantly they answered the phone. I drove an hour and a half simply to play this course and I will continue to do it again And again. Quality is worth the drive.

Best place to hit dingers in my area.

Went down for a girls trip with some very uncooperative weather. Luckily Meadowview was more than understanding and accommodating, we had an excellent experience with them! Beautiful course, can’t wait to play it in (hopefully) drier conditions soon.

Just discovered this place, and it’s so great I’m a little reluctant to write the glowing review they deserve! But I’ll try. Let’s start with staff. Everyone we encountered was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Even the one young lady working alone in food service went out of her way to make sure we were having a great day at the golf course - that was awesome! The management team on-site that day was some of the nicest people I’ve come across, EVER, at a golf course. Golfed here on Saturday with my brother, course is fun and challenging. greens were very well kept, fairways were in good condition as well. My only complaint would be that the sand traps could be maintained better, most were hard matted down sand. We didn't tee off until 10:30 so I would think the ground crew would have had a chance to get out and work the traps. They have a nice practice area for before your round. All in all I definitely recommend.

Nice course. But slowest pace you will ever play. And nobody lets faster groups play through. Tee times are not spaced far enough for as slow as people play.

This is a fantastic 18 hole course. When people were telling me Mattoon had a course, I honestly thought it was just going to be a typical small town 9 hole course. I was so wrong. It's beautiful! Course is very well kept! Ball washers and garbage cans are at every hole, or nearly every hole, so it's easy to help keep the course and your cart clean. It's also priced extremely reasonable. My 10 year old son is just starting to get into golf and the guys in the pro-shop made him feel so welcome! They really get you excited about playing. This will definitely be our go-to spot. Phenomenal course, especially compared to around the area and great people working. But the schedule for being open is kinda silly. It was low 30s yesterday and cloudy and you guys were still open. Today is sunny and 40s+ and you guys are apparently closed for the weather? Kinda sucks since I just bought my pass this season and sullivan being closed temporarily and now you guys are closed on a nice sunny Sunday. Kinda makes me wonder if the season pass will even be worth it till after March.

Beautiful course, very well maintained. Rolling terrain with trees and lovely natural prairie areas along the way. (Play here and support bees who feed off the milkweed!) Long enough for big hitters, yet friendly enough for all. Not super challenging, but interesting enough layout, so it's a very pleasant outing for golfers. Pace of play: 3 hrs 45 min for 18 holes. I will definitely be back.

Very nice course, staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely will be going back to play again. Greens are large and fast, just how I like them.

Great, Courteous and All Hard Working Individuals. My Wife and I have enjoyed playing at this course as is it reasonably priced for a 9 hole or 18 hole with cart. The Price for 2 people for a 9 hole with cart is $52.If you reserve online during the week the prices vary but it usually comes out to $48. The price of a large bucket of balls is $8 and a small $5. The bucket is filled to the brim, so it is definitely reasonable.
