Merchantville Country Club was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was responsive, helpful, and quick. The venue itself was the perfect size for our event, and they set everything up beautifully, allowing us to have everything in one place. Just had my baby shower here and it was amazing! Beautiful space! We had so many compliments from guests. Food was delicious. It was spacious. Alyssa was easy to work with and quick to respond to all our questions and requests. Definitely recommend!

Twice now, the Merchantville Country Club has been the venue we chose for a post-funeral service luncheon. They accommodated our every request, invited our participation in the decoration of the dining room, and satisfied our last-minute request for a microphone and PA system for an unexpected presentation. The food served was excellent, and the table service was highly attentive. Our guests raved about the luncheon.

I hosted an Alumni Awards luncheon banquet at MCC on 11/15/25. The banquet manager was exhaustive in her attention to detail helping ensure that everything went according to plan. The buffet was very good and plentiful, the room was perfectly set up and the feedback from the attendees was superlative. I already saved the date for next year.

We had a baby shower at this place today. All I can say are that the people that belong here are LOW CLASS. They stopped a guest, who is a veteran, and her children who were guests at the baby shower, took their pictures in the parking lot, and asked if they were there to commit a crime and rob the cars. This is not a welcoming place with welcoming people. Plus, the venue was not that nice. It is a place for middle class people to feel as tho they are better than they are. Attended a baby shower here on Saturday June 29. As part of the family, I was horrified to hear about some random member accost a family guest, who is a Military veteran and her children as they were leaving. He accused them of scoping out the lot to break into cars. He tried to intimidate them with these random accusations and took their picture. Would he have attempted such bullying behavior if her husband had been standing there? There was NO reason for this behavior. I have participated in 2 previous member/guest tournaments here. They make the 6.5 hr. drive from Buffalo NY worthwhile as from the moment I arrive until the day I depart, I am treated like an old friend. Top notch food, beverages and of course golf! So looking forward to the upcoming MCC Member/Guest #3!

We went here after a funeral for a luncheon. The harvest salad was excellent! The gnocchis a bit doughy and a not so impressive red sauce on it. The beef was super tender. But the star of the show was those crab cakes! Perfectly seasoned, very little filler with nice chunks of crab meat. I gave this place 4 stars though, because they started running out of things VERY quickly! There wasn't a large number of us, way less than was originally booked for. Tables were missing random things...a knife here, a chair there.... Just seemed very unprepared, even though party was booked a week in advance.

I joined a couple of years ago. I have been a member of 4 other south jersey private clubs over the past 35 years. All were great. Something special at Merchantville. Friendly membership, great conditions always and a vey interesting layout. No tee times is fantastic. Walk up and play. Always a friendly game to join. Price is right. In total a great vibe. I’m here for life!

Great place and great club, as I’ve been a guest many times and have always felt welcome. Anyone who does not feel welcome at Merchantville CC probably shouldn’t be there in the first place.

The people there are beyond rude. Save your time, and money. It is so much more worth it finding a difficult club. 15 years of going there, you wouldn't think I would be here writing this review. I'm just as shocked. Utterly disgusting with how they run things and how RUDE the people who run the place are. They are completely oblivious to everything. Not worth it. One bit.
