What People Say

In summary

Minnesott Golf & Country Club is praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The pool is highlighted as a clean and enjoyable amenity, especially for families. While the course is generally in good condition, some reviewers mention occasional issues with drainage and greens being hard or slow. Additionally, there are isolated reports of negative interactions with staff, but these do not overshadow the overall positive experience.

Golf course is in Awesome condition challenging! A great first hole one that if you can overcome it the rest of the course will be a great experience!

We love the pool! We've been going the last three years and love it! It's very nice and always clean and they're usually isn't a crowd out there like most pools you go to, definitely will always be the place to go to swim!

The pool is an excellent place to go with the kids. We always have a good time. The people are nice and respectful. Plenty of room to play and it has a shallow end, 3ft. The deep end is up to 9ft. Highly recommend a membership

There is one individual who works here who thinks he is the highest and mightiest. He “patrols” the course. He came up and started yelling at us saying people were complaining about us but not a single soul was around us all day. He also physically removed a beer from my friends husbands hand. Then proceeded to “confiscate” every beverage we had. Mind you we’re not acting belligerently or anything he was just absolutely rude for no reason.

Pro shop staff were great and very welcoming to someone playing the course for the first time. The course itself is very nice. Greens were very good, lots of water hazards to challenge you. The first tee shot is nerve wracking though. It’s very intimidating with the narrow gap and the clubhouse right behind you. If you’re in the area, definitely look at this club.

This is a hidden secret. Not many people know about this golf course. Excellent layout with breathtaking water views. I paid $25 for 18 holes which included my own cart.

Course is a challenge for the beginner golfer and the intermediate. Requires well placed tee shots with plenty of hazards to deal with. Greens are recently punched, so a little difficult to get balls to spin on and read. Tee boxes and some parts of the fairways were a little overgrown, but didn’t impact overall play. A fun course to play and the staff are AMAZING! Highly recommend playing if in the area and looking for a challenge but fun time at the same time.

Nice course. Fairways and greens were in good condition. After playing several courses with very fast greens, these were a nice relief. But we're a little too slow. I will be back!

First course I played after 10 years. I loved it. Water traps are pretty tricky. You know that they are there but you can't see them. Great service and fair price. Food was excellent for the price.

Played MGCC twice June 2025. This course is interesting and definitely a great value. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition. T boxes on the smaller side and could use some work. Bring bug spray and take the ferry from Cherry Branch.

Awesome course! It was a bit wet, the drainage system needs some work I would say but nonetheless it was a really fun course. Great staff. Carts were in great condition. I would go back even on a rainy day!

They have really improved this course. We play here at least once a month. I actually got my first hole in one at #9. The grill manager even bought me a round of celebratory beers. Price is good for a round. I do the Golfmoose package most of the time.
