In summary

Miona Lake Golf Club is appreciated for its affordability and friendly staff, with many visitors enjoying the overall experience and the greens being in decent condition. However, there are frequent criticisms regarding the fairways, which are often described as being in poor shape with weeds and erosion issues. The course's maintenance appears inconsistent, with some noting significant improvements while others report ongoing neglect.

Prices are great. Course needs a lot of landscaping help; fairways are rough, patchy, weedy, and a lot of humps from erosion (see attached photo). The greens are nice, plush. For the price the place is great, at 13$ afternoon tee.. I could rate it a 4/5 star by price, customer service, course difficulty.. but by course quality, a 2... And that's how I get my 3 out of 5..

Played the course last week. Let’s just say the course was great back in it’s hay day! Doesn’t appear to have much golfers so the income is not much to take care of the course. Really in bad shape. Rumor control has it closing after the snowbirds leave in late April.

Fun course and great Arnie Clubhouse. Amusing how you will get treated different by age and what you appear worth money wise. Gave the bartender probably the best tip he would receive all day and my personal custom pin due to all three of his running out of ink to watch his eyes light up like a giant squid in the light. Book by the cover they say

Course is in great shape. Fairways tee boxes all overseeded. Greens in great shape. Best it has been in last few years. Fun but tough. Five sets of tee boxes. Friendly.

Course was in horrible condition!!! Fairway was a mix of dirt and weeds. They probably haven’t done any type of landscape in maybe 10 years. Not even worth the cheap $20 golf

My husband and I golfed here for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was for the money. We will be heading back there to improve on how we scored today!

Fairways were not in good shape at all. The greens were alright, but it was only $20 with a cart. During the winter, you get what you pay for.
