Nice course. Tee boxes and some greens need work

The course was fine. The on course restrooms was dirty and both toilet paper dispensers were empty.

Course was in good shape, starter was good. One of the only starter shacks that consistently run ahead of assigned tee times. Get there 30 minutes early, not 20. Well run organization.

2/7/25 - What an enjoyable round. Course was in great shape. Layout was fun but challenging. Staff was attentive and were taking great care of the course. Can’t wait to play again.

Challenging course from multiple tee boxes. There are 3 par 4s listed near 200 yds from the black tees.

A fun & challenging level 3 Villages executive course (9 holes), that plays 1682 yards max (black tees). One par 4 and 2 water carry holes make this course interesting. Mostly wide open holes, very few trees & shady areas. We both like this course a lot and play it often.

Southern Star Executive course has more of a challenge than a lot of the other Executive Golf courses and that's why it is considered a level 3 out of 4 concerning difficulty. It has longer holes, but they are usually a straight shot from the tee box to the green, that is once you pass the first three water holes. There is only one Par 4 hole. They could certainly use a bit more shade as the temps get quite warm in the summer. Greens a little bit rough

Nice round, but the greens are rough, plus the guy in the shack was more worried about his personal phone call than us

Nice par 3 golf course. Not a lot of shade and a bit longer in yardage with lots of water to shoot over! If you have a decent game, this course is for you.

Course was in pretty good shape. You can see the work they're doing to get it back.

I liked this course, in good shape and holes were longer than other Executive courses which made it challenging and fun.
