By far the worst greens we have played at the villages. We have a large we play golf with and we played Volusia twice this month and the course should be shut down and redo the greens. Even pin placement on several holes make it impossible.

Views were great. Course was hilly and narrow. Wasn't a bad Course we had fun. We have played better executive Courses. The View is what makes this course.

It's a golf executive golf course for beginning golfers. Hard enough for beginners yet enjoyable enough for more advanced golfers. Has some great hills and uneven greens

Super nice guys at the starter shack. Someone mentioned Hole 2 is the highest point on the golf course.

What a fun place to work on my game. Floating golf balls. Which one is mine.

The course was in bad shape when we played it a few weeks ago. Slow greens, lots of dead grass everywhere. Looks like they were starting to get in better shape but needed attention, in my opinion.

Very nice executive course. It is well tended, has amazing views, and the holes have some challenges. My new favorite since I just missed a hole in one today.

Volusia is a challenging course especially in the summer. It is very hilly and retrieving balls can be exhausting for the novice or handicapped. It could use a few more shade trees. Water is available at each tee box/ball wash station. The course has clean unisex restrooms, beautiful views and a great golf school nearby with excellent pros. This is also a popular course for golf events such as night golf. Golf ambassadors frequently make rounds to supply water or assistance.

One of my favorites in The Villages, don't hurry on the first two holes because there's ALWAYS a wait on the third tee box (the par four) usually because the starter will push you out early if you let him. Golf office says you have every right to wait until your time.
