Sandhill Golf Course

Been playing this course for many years, it's an enjoyable Level 2 with a good variety of holes. We played here yesterday (9/24/25) and the whole atmosphere of the course has changed with the massive apartment complex now sitting next door. It used to be an open field with cows roaming under shade trees. The traffic volume has increased exponentially, and so has the noise. Sadly this course is off our play list for good.

Greens were great today!

Great track on the executive trail in the Villages. This course was in excellent shape when I played on 3/11/23. I played a number of courses this week, and the lack of rain has been hard on them. Yet this couse has stood up and is in great shape.

Really enjoy Sandhill. Course is good for both beginners and those who have experience playing. Nice 9 hole, par 3 course, with 1 par 4 hole. Only drawback is that this course is not accessible by car, you can only approach it by golf cart. You can, however, go to the next course, park there and walk over. It will take approximately 10 minutes, so you'll need to get there about 30-35 minutes early as all The Villages golf courses request you be there at least 20 minutes prior to the tee time. Have a good round!

Sandhill Executive golf course is longer than most with one or two par four holes. It provides a challenge with its long fairways, rolling hills and angled greens. There's water available and ball wash at each tee. Restrooms are wheelchair accessible as well as the parking. Ambassadors monitor the course to provide assistance if needed. It could use a bit more shade, but is a pretty course. Please give this a like if you found my review helpful.

Guess customer service isn't their strong suit. The concierge's cordial way of answering the phone is, "This is Sandhill & we have no openings " When I start to ask a question about their automated system instead, he says, "I don't know" and hangs up on me.

nice layout and has some interesting hazards but mostly easy to maneuver. A must try and solid challenge.

I would like to say thank you to the golf pro, Scott Eads. I was having trouble hitting my driver. Just one lesson from Scott and I'm now hitting straight shots again. Thanks for the help Scott. Jim Talley

Not in too bad a shape. Especially in regards to other courses. Greens weee certainly puttanle.
