In summary

Mirimichi Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful layout, challenging design, and well-maintained greens, offering a country club-like experience at public course prices. The staff is generally friendly, and the practice facilities receive high marks. However, some visitors have noted issues with course conditions such as thin fairways, under-maintained bunkers, and slow pace of play, particularly when marshals are not present to manage it.

The staff is very nice. The layout is challenging, but under proper conditions it’s a really good track. Unfortunately, proper conditions have been scarce at this course. Fairways are thin, hard and dusty — which is tolerable when there is a cushion of rough to keep imperfect shots from careening into lost-ball territory, but there is surprisingly little rough to speak of at Mirimichi. Play defensively. Other issues: Bunkers are indifferently maintained. Tee boxes are lumpy and scarred. The greens are hard and quick, but large and roll true. Rain and/or better irrigation would do wonders for t…

Wow, I’m so happy to recommend this golf course! Although it’s a private club, non-members can still call ahead to reserve a tee time. The facilities are excellent, the environment is beautifully maintained, and the course features interesting and well-designed water hazards and bunkers that add a fun level of challenge. With peaceful surroundings and very affordable green fees, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a round of golf.

We played this past Saturday (November 8). Check-in was easy enough. The staff were cordial but not particularly friendly or welcoming. The range and practice is nice. For early November, the course was in really good shape. The fairways were firm with a good bit of run to them. We were told the greens were running extremely fast. This was very true. It had been a day or two since the hole locations were last moved as the edge around the cups, particularly the edge in the direction of the grain, was showing some age. However, it appeared the greens had been rolled that morning. The greens acc…

It's a challenging course with plenty of water and trouble around. It will test your game and reward good shots. The greens can be difficult if you don't pick your spots.

The best value for a public course in the Memphis area. Really impressive practice facilities for a public course. They have a grass range, massive practice green, and a short game / pitching green with a practice bunker. Course itself is longer, more challenging, and more interesting than many nearby options as well. Front 9 is a wide open bomber's paradise but the back 9 offers some really challenging and interesting holes.

The golf course has amazing views and very well-kept fairways and greens. It is definitely the best public golf course in Memphis.

Mirimichi, meaning “place of happy retreat”. Fun golf course to play in Millington. Nice layout with some challenges. Staff was friendly. Course was not over crowded. Worth the money. Hope to play again.

The course is in very good shape considering our drought conditions lately. All greens were good and fairways surprisingly green, plus fees are lower than average, especially for such a well maintained course. I am NOT a fan of the carts cutting power off automatically and abruptly in certain areas. I understand the challenge of keeping folks out of sensitive areas but perhaps just a continuous warning because I had to literally put it into reverse to back out of some spots that I would not have considered off limits. That's a small negative, though...all else was pleasant and I have always lo…

Great layout fairways cut a little to short or Bermuda grass has not grown in. Still early for Bermuda grass I guess.

Mirimichi is a fantastic golf course with lots to offer. The clubhouse is nice and the staff are friendly. The prices are the best you can find in the area, especially for the course. The practice areas are excellent, too. I highly recommend playing the 18 hole course to everyone.

Nice course but could be better. Dead spots in a few fairways and around some greens which I didn't expect on a course with the reputation this one had. I can see all the nice stone work that was put in, but it is all mildew and looks unkempt now, as does alot of the course. Greens are okay, a bit slow for my liking but overall good condition. Clubhouse and bar staff were super nice and the course is solid and well worth coming to play a round on. The worse part is the knats!!! Had an early morning tee time and was harassed for the first 12 holes by the bugs...course is surrounded by woodland…

Not very impressed with the course as I was hoping to be. The tees needed attention as well as the sand traps. There was a 5 some on the course and I eventually had to just skip a hole to get by them because I never saw a Marshall to monitor pace of play. I will say the price was very affordable. But the condition of the course was average at best.
