In summary

Missaukee Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful condition, with well-maintained greens, fairways, and a scenic layout that is both accessible for beginners and engaging for experienced players. The staff is often highlighted for their friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors express frustration with the pace of play and course management, noting instances of slow rounds and lack of enforcement of etiquette, which can detract from the enjoyment for more time-conscious golfers.

An absolutely beautiful course that is in great shape! The tee boxes are in great shape, the fairways are plush, and greens roll true. The layout is fun and there are a few hills to navigate, which makes it a fair challenge. Not overly long either and pretty wide open for landing areas. The negative: Zero course etiquette is enforced as far as speed goes. We were told to start on the back 9 as there would be a league beginning on the back nine as we would be finishing up 9 holes, that’s smart. However, once we got back to hole 1, there were 5 groups in front of us. Why put us off the back if…

A very diverse 18 hole course. There are straight fairways for you to just unleash a drive and others that make you rethink your approach. It is a very reasonably priced course. When busy, you will end up waiting a lot at each hole, so if your a fast golfer take this into account.

We got for an early season round. Can't beat that! Very friendly staff. The course was ready to play even with ice still on the pond. Can't say we did real well but definitely not the courses fault. Always enjoy a round at Missaukee Golf Club.

Beautiful golf course! Right on the lake! First 9 all par 4 and 3. Hole 9 is your chance at a hole in 1 at only 109 yards. Back 9 was beautiful with one hole being on the side of a massive sand dune.

I spent the winter of 23/24 golfing in Alabama & Florida and thought I was on some pretty nice courses until I had the opportunity to play at Missaukee. The Superintendent and crew at the Miss have the course in beautiful shape, dam I love this place! Don’t pass up the opportunity to play here. 5 star!

The golf course doesn't know how to manage tee times. We made the turn. There was two six sums and a foursome that we had to wait for. We didn't play the back cuz we didn't want to take 6 hours. Greens were in good condition. Fairways were nice and mowed. They just need to know how to manage a golf course

Great course everything from tee box ,fairways,to greens was tip top shape. So lush and green absolutely beautiful. The only complaint is the driving range is right between #17 & #18 fairways so there’s plenty of stray range balls which make it difficult to find your own ball. If you’re aware it’s an easy fix just play with a different looking ball ,orange , soccer pattern, pink just not white or yellow Nice wide fairways with forgiving rough outside the fairway Will definitely play here again

We arrived at the course early and enjoyed the sunrise as we hit the course. The morning felt like we were the only ones on the course and after the turn around 940am it became a little crowded. It seemed people could make the choice of where they wanted to golf and what hole they wanted to jump to. It's an easy course that does not offer a big challenge, but provides a good opportunity to practice those strait shots. It is clean and welcoming to the public. It seems to be a great Jr. Golf course and family because of the short open course.

A beautiful course that has a simple but effective layout. The ideal spot for new players and a great course for experienced players. There are enough challenges to keep you wanting more, but is easy enough to not break a club. If you have the chance you should come play this beautifully kept course

This place is top notch and the staff truly take care of their customers. I had the unfortunate experience of losing my cell phone while playing the course. As a last ditch effort I reported it to the manager, Brian, and left my name and contact information. He contacted me the next day when someone turned my phone in, and then shipped the phone to me next-day since I am from out of town. While I definitely don't recommend doing what I did, I highly suggest you play this course - the greens are just as well cared for as the customers. Pristine northern Michigan course!
