In summary

Emerald Vale Golf Club is appreciated for its beautiful setting, unique layout, and friendly staff, making it a favored spot for many golfers. The course offers a mix of challenging and easier holes, with reasonable rates and a welcoming atmosphere. However, several visitors have noted concerns about the course's maintenance, particularly the condition of the greens and fairways, which some feel detracts from the overall experience.

Very disappointing. We've been playing here for 10 years. Today, we played and the course was in the worst condition I've ever seen. The amount of dandelions and weeds were unbelievable. Apparently it's under new ownership and they're remodeling the club house, but if they don't take care of the course itself, it'll go under. I realize this isn't a country club or high dollar course, but it was beyond bad. I really hope they can turn it around, but it needs a lot of work. On a positive note, the ladies working were fantastic and very nice.

I really enjoyed my round here. The best part of this course is the format and layout. Each hole is unique and different, not a boring course at all. The fairways were striped and in good shape. The current drought conditions are effecting every course I play right now, but overall the fairways and greens were well watered and green. The greens themselves need some TLC, each of them had spots and cracks from some sort of issue. Overall it didn't effect my round very often, I was able to hit consistent putts and the greens were firm. I will be back, this place is beautiful!

Great course, unfortunately we were not informed of an outing scheduled for this morning. Really slow play, 2 hours forty minutes to play nine holes. We quit after nine and had lunch. They were kind enough to issue rain check for 9 holes and cart good thru 2022, as we were visiting and would not be back in the area before then. Really appreciate that. We will come back next year!

This was considerably the worse golf course I have ever played at. I have never saw such terrible course management, the greens were absolutely unplayable, bunkers all filled with water or wet, and tee boxes overgrown. Look at photos attached, if you are trying to look for new courses in the northern area, skip this 100%.

I have been going to this course ever since it opened and I've always enjoyed playing here. I just played here recently and it was sad. The employees were fine. But the course was a wreck. Tee boxes were sparse and weeds everywhere. Fairways burned out in sections. One area could be soaked and the other desert dry. As to the greens. Man. We had to move our balls to find a spot to putt. Even then it wasn't perfect. On one green there was a root that was roughly 3 feet long on the surface we could see. I have never seen that. As to the traps. Some were playable but some were filled with water or…

Nice course at a decent rate. Beautiful setting among a mix of maple, pine, etc. Especially pleasing to play when the leaves are turning.

The greens have dead spots in a lot of places. Definitely not worth the $60

Employees were very nice, but the course is cooked. There are much nicer courses in the area for the money. I hope they invest some money into this place because it has been a staple for years, but not so much at the moment.

Our favorite course! It is private, and usually easy to get into. The staff are friendly and helpful.
