In summary

The Kingsley Club is highly praised for its challenging and beautifully designed course, with many highlighting the superb layout by Mike DeVries and the excellent course conditions. The staff is frequently described as friendly and welcoming, contributing to a positive overall experience. While the club's amenities are considered minimal and understated, which some appreciate for its focus on the game, a few visitors feel the course is overpriced and the clubhouse lacks sophistication.

Toured this unique course with friends. Very hilly and some challenging looking holes. Great cottages on site to rent.

A golfers golf course. No cart girl, no white tablecloth dining room, no valet. Just a small clubhouse, an even smaller putting green, and 18 magnificently designed golf holes. The Mike DeVries design makes wonderful use of "the north 40" on the front site. Set amongst a caldera like land formation, the first nine holes criss-cross constantly challenging the player. Personally I love 6-9. The back half of the course is set in the trees with a wonderful hole variety. The stout par 11th, the quirky the 12th, the templated-eske 16th are all fantastic. Simply the best all-round golf course in Michigan. It's an absolutely brilliant design. I've never played a course with a better balance of difficulty and play-ability. This will be a top 50 course in the US in a few years. Mark it down.

I've only had the pleasure to play it once. And that's not enough. If you want flash, go waste your money at Pebble Beach. Prepare to be underwhelmed by the pro shop and overwhelmed by the golf course.

Brilliant Mike Devries design. Green complexes demand superb short game. Challenging routing through Northern Mich.

One of the best golf course in the state and the "fast and firm" conditions separate it from its peers. The course is a par 71 beauty and the front 9 is absolutely stunning. There are plenty of risk/reward holes and if you are in the area then this is a must play. The staff is outstanding and this is a true golfers paradise.
