In summary

Elmbrook Golf Course is often praised for its challenging layout, well-maintained greens, and scenic views, with many visitors appreciating the friendly and accommodating staff. The course offers a good balance of difficulty and enjoyment, and is considered a great value. However, some guests have reported issues with staff behavior, maintenance of the fairways, and the condition of the carts, which detracted from their overall experience.

Loved this course, greens were fast and tough but in great condition. Fairways offer tough conditions for stance, ball was either above or below your feet. This was a great value and great up north golf course without the up north price. staff was great. Some holes even offered a nice view. I'd definitely play again when in the area.

The staff here are amazing! They go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your round of golf! Biz is wonderful. I think I can beat her in a round of golf. ICE-COLD Beer was half the price I'd normally pay.

Played here last weekend and really enjoyed the course. It was hot and the beers were cold. If you're playing this course and play the white tees move back one set.

Very nice course with challenging both greens and fairways. Fun to play. Pace was a bit slow on the front 9 at the begining but it picked up as we progressed. Recommended.

Love the location and convenience of a nice course near town. However I’ve given this course a few tries now leaving dissatisfied. The carts are obnoxious, beeping, locking and shutting down. Today will be my last due to the mowers being right on top of us. We were followed for at least 4 holes. Called the front to request a pause. I understand people need to do their job, however there is mowing etiquette that is not being taught or enforced. I declined a rain check. I don’t need another poor experience. Summer and life is just to short for that.

Terrific experience. A great friendly staff, a course that was a good balance of challenging and enjoyable. Even had a couple good shots! Value was exceptional. I don't think I have had a more friendly experience at any course I've played. Also the food was good. We will be coming back at every available opportunity.

Great 18 hole course. Distinct feel between the open, wide front and more narrow and challenging back. Lots of hilly terrain to make a challenging but very enjoyable round. Some unexpected wet spots during a dry period of weather but only near the bottom near the road. Friendly staff.

Nice course with some views of the bay. A few holes with pretty major elevation changes which made for some interesting shots. Played on 5/21/21 and had no complaints with the greens or fairways.

Used to love this course because of the character and friendly staff, but not so much anymore. Newer staff not as friendly as accommodating, and the mowers will mow right on top of you. For $65, I’d recommend finding another course.

I am writing this review following our annual family memorial golf outing. This was the fourth year we held it at Elmbrook… and our last. We will not be returning. While we've enjoyed this course in the past, our recent experience was overshadowed by the rude behavior of the staff. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the staff's attitude was less than welcoming. They were confrontational and unfriendly, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere for our group. To make matters worse, it felt as though we were being watched at every hole, as if they were waiting for us to make a wron…
