I in fact am surprised by the quality of Hayward is offering! the entire environment and facility is all very well managed. Let's start from Hole 1 & 2, the bridges by the green gives you a good idea of how elegant this course is, yes, I would use Elegant as the word to summarize my experience of enjoying 9 holes here. trust me, you'll enjoy your walk here, the route is in and out their neighborhood in the way you're always trying to find your next hole like hunting treasure 🪙 And I like Hole 8 the most, tee off to across the lake and pitching your approach shot by the heart-shape bunker ❤️…

Very nice golf course managed by Hayward. I played it for the first time since I usually frequent the driving range, which is great btw. For the price, you get a very nice, enjoyable, well managed, quiet course. There are short holes, what do you expect out of an executive, but it is also balanced by some par 4s. We went early in the morning and breezed through. I rode as I didn't know what to expect, but next time I'll be walking it. If you're a Hayward resident, you get a small discount, but I'll take any savings I can get with golf.

Decent 9 hole w/ some long drives and a surprisingly spread out design. You’ll do a fair amount of walking to get a cart if you don’t like carrying your clubs. It was quiet and peaceful even though next to a major road. I liked it and would go again.

My favorite 9 hole in the east bay. Decently well maintained. Couple rough spots and the sand traps are usually pretty hard packed. But over all great staff and warming environment

Serene course that is usually available for walk on the times. Great for beginners and somewhat intermediate skills. Some of the par 3/4 are actually challenging. Settled between homes in Hayward, it's a great 9 hole course that takes about 2.30 hours to go thru (beginners). Have never been rushed to play the hole on weekdays and the driving range is connected to the golf course. They even have a cafeteria that seems to have most of the deli based products and drinks.

Great 9-hole if you really like walking, as holes are spaced out so far from greens to tees, never could get a real good rhythm in the game.

This is my favorite place to have an outdoor lunch especially during warm weather. Wonderful, peaceful ambience. I love the chicken pecan cranberry salad! The servers are so nice.

a really nice 9 hole course ~ be ready to do some walking but the course here is pretty well maintained. As for difficulty, there is a pretty good variety here from beginner friendly par 3's to a couple of challenging par 4's

Awesome driving range with club rentals and ball tracking for a little extra cash. The distance between driving mats and other golfers is small tho.

Good range easy quick 9 hole to practice at. Good parking and decent prices.... raise the back net!

Terrible Experience at Mission Hills Golf Course Rushed by Chris and Unfairly Treated I recently had the unfortunate displeasure of visiting Mission Hills Golf Course for a round of golf, and I must say that it was one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had on a golf course. The course is advertised as an "executive" 9 hole course. It comprises 6 par 3s and 3 par 4s, summing to a total par of 30. The course starts off nicely with a straightforward par 3 of ~110 yards. Hole 2 is a little longer (150 yards) and more challenging, with bunkers at left front of the green. The pace ramps up again with hole 3, a 350+ par 4, where the tee shot requires the player to thread the needle between two stands of trees.
