Montevallo Golf Club

This is a great course to learn golf, not too busy, most greens are playable, staff is nice, and the layout is both friendly and challenging. Fairways are tight and lacking some maintenance. Tee boxes are adequate, and the greens are decent for the most part. Great for the price if you can catch a Golf Now or similar deal.

Well it's a great place over all there is quite a few regulars that go there. the 18 holes are as well cut and trimmed as they can keep them considering there's only 3 guys that do it. the employees are very nice that work in the pro shop. very challenging corse and the driving range is quite nice. But the tee box needs some work over all great place.

Very unique golf course with a nice setup. A few greens were terrible but have been fixed and are in good shape. Clubhouse is not stocked with hot foods or a lot of equipment. Still love to play it tho.

Great Course, Very Reasonable! The current personal could use a course on customer relations, tact, and management skills. The children in charge are unapologetically ill mannered and rude. This course is improving and price is reasonable but the kids running the place are the Jack Nicholas of terrible attitudes.

Several really nice holes, it's not in pga shape but the fairways are nice, definitely worth the money, bring bug spray with you, lots of water throughout,so that means nats, I'm planning on playing it into my course rotation.

Terrible management. We purchased a buy one, get one free round plus range balls on GroupOn as a birthday present. We planned a couple weeks out for us to get together and play. After we arrived on said day, we were told today because of a change of management the first of November, they would not honor the voucher we purchased. So instead of the new management honoring the money people have purchased, they refused and lost future customers. It would cost this golf course a grand total of a few dollars of golf cart gas for us to play. We had clubs, we had balls. They provide the place for us…

If you are looking for a course that will not break the bank but a great place to learn then go here. The course conditions need to be worked on but they have new management and working to fix those issues

Greens were a bit hairy today. Probably could not cut do to the rain. Course is harder than the slope give it credit for.

Terrible course. The greens are in very bad condition, and one hole the green was so bad that they cut the grass very short on the fairway and made a green that way instead of fixing the greens. Will not be coming back here!

Greens are always terrible, fairways are halfway maintained, and we had to wait on a cart for over an hour...won't be coming to this joke of a golf course again for a while.

They gave me a tee time for 7 and they don’t even open till 7:30. It’s 7:40 and there is 25 people waiting to get in to play. Can’t expect much from state employees I guess.
