In summary

Mount Frontenac Golf Course is praised for its beautiful scenery, challenging layout, and well-maintained fairways, making it a favorite for many golfers. The staff is frequently highlighted for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the course offers a pleasant experience with reasonable pricing. However, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of the greens, slow pace of play, and occasional noise in the bar area.

A lot better course then I thought it would be. Being in the bluffs it has some slope on the fairways and all the par 3's are difficult. Great staff and pretty good food.

Some spectacular views. This fact moved the review from 1 star to 2. Some of the greens were almost entirely dead in a crackled manner. This caused putting to be impossible & pin placements in the only small areas available. Good drives from the tee boxes sometimes resulted in your ball in rough behind trees. One of the fairways was entirely crowned resulting in an impossibility to remain on the fairway. This course was as unfair a course as perhaps any I've ever played. The property has so much potential. It's a shame. I'll pass on playing here again.

I played Mount Frontenac for the first time last week. What a great course. The staff was extremely accommodating and the course was already in very good shape. The views were spectacular. I’ll be back soon but I’m also going to make it a point to golf there this fall once the leafs begin to change colors. I would think the views would be incredible!!!

This is a lot tougher course than I expected but we had fun. Recommend a cart because some of the hills (Hole 6?) Par 3 is straight up! Lovely day for golf there and the food is great!

What a gem! First time playing here. Everyone needs to play here at least once if not more. Will definitely come back due to PCC..drive over a hour to play. Great test of your skill if you’re a low handicap. I’m a 6, playing from tip and I shot 82. Greens were fast. Although soft to land on, ball kept rolling off. Fairways are tight but well cared for so didn’t loose any balls. Uneven fairways makes it hard for balls to stay where you played your ball. Staff were super friendly and the food were great! Thanks for a great experience!!

Played our first round of the '21 season today; Frontenac is in an embarrassing state. Greens are dried out and patchy, fairways are poorly groomed, tee boxes are littered with weeds and old divots, and bunkers are unkept. The staff in the clubhouse are always pleasant, but I don't recommend wasting your money here. There's too many other great options in the immediate area.

Very challenging course, for me anyway. Beautiful scenery very well kept. All of the staff were kind and welcoming, very nice place to experience!

Course had a nice layout. However, many of the greens were too dried out and unplayable. Several uphill putts would go beyond the hole, stop, and roll off the green into the rough behind the golfer. Either the greens were not sufficiently watered or they were cut too short. The practice green was a good indicator of what to expect on the course. The problem could have been partially rectified by more strategic pin placement on some of the holes.

This is a very nice golf course! Dan was in the pro shop and was very cool, he was very informational on everything about that course so I got in his ear about a few things that I was concerned about. One of the questions I asked him is how many people do you get here to play on the weekends cuz it seems pretty dead I think this course is very unappreciated for its location. This is a very forgiving golf course the fairways are nice and wide no matter what your shot is you can play it. The refs were nice and tight you could hit your ball out of it it did not sink into the rough it pretty much…

Mt. Frontenac has some awesome vistas that speckle the course. This was my first time playing it and although it's more than an hour's drive for me, I'll definitely be back. Plenty of trees line the fairways to cause you to play more conservatively at times. The course was in fine shape for so late in the year. Clubhouse staff was very friendly and welcoming.

This is a very beautiful golf course. It is very well appreciated by the grounds crew. The fairways were well maintained. The greens were smooth and fast and very approachable. The staff year was helpful with anything that we might have had a question with. They had very short wait times and ready to accommodate for golfers of any skill! Stop grab some friends and go swing the club at Frontenac you will be glad you did! #getoutngolf #tellemtbonesentya
