Mississippi National Golf Links is highly praised for its stunning views, well-maintained greens, and challenging layout, particularly on the Highlands course, which features dramatic elevation changes and picturesque scenery. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, though some mention the clubhouse is somewhat dated and note occasional slow pace of play. Overall, the course is considered a must-visit for its unique setting and enjoyable golfing experience.

LOVE this course. It is 90 mins from where I live but I LOVE the beautiful drive to this course and the course is amazing. Very well cared for and greens and fairways always have been in excellent condition. LOVE setup of the UPPER course and I've never played the lower since I live the Upper so much. I've seen eagles, deer and other wildlife and the views of the bluffs are wonderful. Id pay $ just to drive a golf cart thru the course and enjoy the views.

Absolutely fantastic golf course. A must place in the state of Minnesota, just outside the city limits of Red Wing. Our group played the highlands course, and I am glad we did! The views on the highlands course can't be beat. Fairways and greens are overlooking the bluffs and rolling hills surrounding Red Wing and are truly breathtaking. The greens are pure, tee boxes are level and we'll maintained, and the fairways are in great shape. 10/10 would recommend to make the drive down from the Twin Cities to play this true gem.

Overall a great place, the inside is dated but the staff was great. The views are amazing and it is a pretty tough course. Bring extra golf balls and plan on a losing a couple or more. Will definitely go again.

Oh my goodness, played the Highs, and WOW!!!! How much FUN!!!!!!!! By far the BEST course I've played in Minnesota!!! No turn, but they warn you which was great so we were prepared. Several really long challenging holes, and a few equally challenging short ones. Be prepared to lose a few (or many) balls as most of the fairways are surrounded by thick trees. Overall, just a great time and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend!!!!

Fun course! Got my second birdie! Loved the steep drop holes. Club house is on the older/outdated side but it gives it character. Beautiful views.

Absolutely stunning views from this 36 hole course. The clubhouse looks like a large old timey sourhern mansion with towering pillars. Separated into the Lowlands and the Highlands, placed perfectly above the Mississippi River valley. For only $65 riding on the weekend, peak of season you could play one of Minnesotas most scenic courses. They've opened it up and cut down quite a few trees in the last years and the course plays great. Have always had an amazing time here. This course a true gem in Minnesota, must play. Highlands is my favorite for sure, can't beat the elevation changes and the…

Course was in really good condition. We played the Highlands course and it did not disappoint. The fairways were in good shape. Except a lot of off chamber shots if you miss fairways though. Big greens make for easier approaches. Spent a lot of time repair ball marks (not just my own), which makes for a less than desirable putting service. Clubhouse staff was very friendly, and they were clearing and sterilizing golf carts after every group. Definitely recommend playing this course, not sure if it's required or not, but if you play the Highlands course definitely get a cart. There are a few ho…

It is simply spectacular, with unbelievable sights and epic elevation changes. Every hole is unique and challenges you to use your whole bag. There are lots of high-risk, high-reward holes as well. Easily one of my favorite courses of all-time with a very friendly staff as well. *you must take a cart for the Highland course, too long of a walk and has severe hills.

The Highlands are worth a trip from anywhere in the US if you like challenging golf and beautiful views. This pic is the tee box from the second hole. The Lowlands are a wonderful course, not as challenging as the Highlands, but boy, is it a long course. For those of you like me that just can't get enough, do all 36! Your legs will hate you, but boy, is it fun!!!

We played the highlands course. They have a lowlands 18 as well. The views are breathtaking. First picture is on the downhill par 5 was playing about 650, but the downslope helps the tee shot as long as you keep it in play. Second picture is their iconic hole 17 par 3 with the severe decline tee shot which makes it fun to watch it drop towards the green. Will definitely be back!

⛳ Tell em T-Bone sent ya ⛳ 1. Course Conditions ⭐⭐⭐ Rough was hungry, could have used a trim. And the sprinklers were running for most of the round. 2. Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was busy in the bar area, glad to see people enjoying their time. 3. Grub ⭐⭐⭐ Looks good, still haven't tried...I will update when I do. 4. Cart Conditions ⭐⭐⭐ It has a USB that works, the shocks didn't. 5. Pokerchip Ball Marker👍🏻 6. Price 💲💲💲
