In summary

Gopher Hills Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and scenic setting, with many golfers appreciating the variety of holes and elevation changes. The venue is also noted for being a great location for events like weddings, with accommodating staff and ample space. However, some visitors have reported negative experiences with a specific staff member, Mitch, citing issues with customer service, and there are occasional concerns about course management, such as cart availability and overbooking.

Love this course! It's in great shape, greens are true and it's a good challenge. There are a lot of crazy bounces because of all the hills but makes for a good challenge. Course has a great mixture of course management holes, risk reward holes and swing away holes. Prices are fair too! Highly recommend.

It is clean, welcoming. Staff is all nice to work with. Venue has lots of room and more. Great place for a wedding (room for ceremony on site as in another area) another area to set up for dinner and bar area.

Such a fun track just South of the Twin Cities metro. A lot of fun holes and elevation changes makes for a really fun, challenging round. Course conditions were fantastic. Greens in excellent shape. Tee boxes in great shape. All around an excellent experience. 10/10 would recommend to all golfers of all skill levels.

Had a blast and Gopher Hills! Greens roll very true. The entire course is in excellent shape. Nice driving range and practice putting and chipping green. Very nice layouts of holes up down and around hills; it was really fun. Friendly staff, and had dogs fresh and ready to go at the turn! We will be back for sure!

This course surprised me with the layout and quality. The back nine is a hidden gem. A great price for this course and challenging layout. Customer service is good. I will be returning.

What’s there not to like about Gopher Hills? I was not expecting a great track when the course name does not feel too appealing. It’s also in the middle of a corn field almost. Love the course layout! Back tees only played 6400 yards but you’ll need to hit all of it and then some due to its elevated tee box & greens. Greens were in perfect condition, not too fast or slow at all. Plenty of range stalls. A 9-hole course is perfect for beginners or younger kids. Will definitely come back with friends.

Great course, definitely a bit more challenging than the usual MN courses I’m used to…but that’s just me. All in all a great course that I will for sure play again!

Nice golf course, nothing boring about this place. It seems like every hole presents new challenges. Many doglegs and significant elevation changes make this a thinking person's course. The best turf that I have played on this season. Every green is unique, some large some small, irregular shapes and undulations, but they all roll true. Good pace of play and a nice clubhouse and staff too.

Very nice course set on a picturesque property. Several blind holes, so first time around can be challenging. Reasonably priced, and not overly crowded on a Friday afternoon!

Enjoyed my round even without playing my best golf. Beautiful property. I saw both gophers and hills, so the course lived up to its name. The many hills create blind shots, and that (along with too many doglegs) was the only thing taking the experience down from 5 to 4 stars. Walkers beware; you'll want a cart here.

Our wedding was a fairy-tale day and I think a part of that was how great the venue and staff were. Everyone raved about the food and the balcony was a perfect location for our ceremony. They were so accommodating to my requests. A perfect space to have my wedding.

I had a very disappointing experience with an employee named Mitch. From the start, his attitude came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than being helpful, Mitch was short, rude, and gave the impression that assisting me was an inconvenience. Customer service should be about patience and respect, but unfortunately, that was completely lacking in this interaction. I hope management addresses this behavior, because customers deserve to be respected!! BTW this is not my first interaction with him.
