Red Wing Country Club

One of my favorite courses I have played in Minnesota. An hour drive from the Twin Cities. The layout of the course is what I loved. With downhill and uphill teeshots; tight and open teeshots; beautiful tree-lined fairways with some dog legged holes both left and right and straight: this course offers challenges for any golfer. I would love to see how the colors show during the fall.

Very fun course. Amazing price . Beautiful views surrounding . Lots of very dramatic elevation changes . Top level, fast, well kept greens. Had a great time and finished in very good time as well. Love playing most of any courses in South East Minnesota.

One of my favorite courses, been playing it for 25 years. Finished in 3 hours, 15 minutes teeing off at 10:30 Sunday 27Oct24. I was waiting all day, so I stopped in 12 fairway to finish my lunch and drink as no one was within 3 holes behind me all day and the next three holes play slow. A man and his adolescent son waited on the tee for a few minutes. I noticed and resumed playing normally. They finally caught up again on 17 fairway and hit into me. Missed by 5 feet and yelled fore as the ball landed. He explained it was my fault as I should have played through the group ahead. The polite gent…

What a beautiful course! The course was in amazing condition and the staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Tons of elevation changes and shine great views. And you can't find a better course for the money. If you like hilly, tight, tree line courses, then you have to play here.

This is an amazing course with greens that roll very well and true. I loved the views and scenic tee shots. The restaurant has excellent food; my group stayed after for dinner and drinks. Can’t wait to come back again soon. The staff was very friendly. This is a gem of a course for sure! More than worth the 45 minute drive from Minneapolis!

This is your classic municipal small city golf course. Elevation change was the nice part of the course and some of the views of the valley. The course is in need of major modernization. Some holes are very gimicky with super tight valleys/doglegs. Gives only one option of play. There was one hole where the "signature" tree is overhanging green, but this tree is dead a d had clearly been for awhile. Just take it down. It could use a 50% reduction of trees. Great course! The back 9 has a couple of tight Par-3’s that crush me, but overall the course is well groomed, has fun slopes, and friendly staff.

Nice long course not easy, greens could of used a little more care, trash cans at holes were full, some ball washers no water and no towels. Enjoyed 18 holes of layed back golf as we were not rushed by a course Marshall as on some other courses I have played.

I was there for a wedding. I have to say it was a perfect venue. Beautiful views and a great banquet room.

All I can say is... WOW! This course is beautiful. I can't think of another course that has so many mature trees, fantastic conditions, beautiful scenery all in one. This course has "The PGA" feel to it. If you aren't from the area, this is well worth the drive. This course also has a great special through the rest of the season. I attached the ad in the photos. Come check it out! You aren't going to regret the drive!

Great course. Greens were well kept. Mixture of challenging and easy holes. Fun even for beginners. Staff was friendly and helpful.

WOW! This course has great views and is in beautiful shape. Greens were tricky and true. Fair forward tees! Will definitely be back.
